This company and website is a scam, do not buy anything from them.

I've ordered something worth $132, it never arrived... never received a confirmation, nothing.

They also do not reply to emails, at all.

Update: It's been quite a few months now, still nothing.

Again, do not buy anything from this website.

I ordered an item at the beginning of June 2025. Nearly 3 months later, as of September 1, the order is still marked as "Your order is confirmed. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready." I emailed ScopeKitchen twice and never got a response. I also called their customer service line but it always goes to voicemail. I had to open a dispute with my credit card company to receive a refund since ScopeKitchen will not return calls or emails.

3 weeks waiting for my order....incredible

Placed an order 6 weeks ago. Have not received the product. No response to emails and phone calls. No customer service what so ever. The money has already been taken. Did tracking of order. The order has not been processed or shipped. I am beginning to think this is a scam. I do not know what to do. Do not order from that company and website. They are not even a member of the better business bureau. I wish the criminals behind this scam would get caught and prosecuted.

It has been 3 weeks now and no response from them. I have not received my items and I emailed and called them several times but got no response. I don't know what to do because they already took out the money. I downloaded the app for tracking but it is useless as well. I don't know what to do.

May my God deal with the people running this kind of customer service or business.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered flatware on 8/30 and when it hadn’t shipped after 2 weeks I reached out to help@scopekitchen for a status update and they never replied. So a week later I requested that my order be cancelled. No response. Then nearly a month later I get a notification that my order shipped. You also can’t track orders without downloading an app.

This site is horribly run. Never again.

I wish I read these reviews before I ordered from Scope Kitchen. I just received mine today after about three or more weeks and it came in the same flimsy way as has been reported. Very thin,poor quality. The small spoon in the set is so tiny I'm not sure what it could ever be used for. I only unwrapped one set and one of the spoons has a rough edge on it. Very disappointed. Will try and return it.

They deserve a 0 . What you see online is absolutely nothing similar to the actual product. They came in wrapped in bags with rubber bands. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the package. It took over three weeks to get here. I was completely unaware. They were shipping from China. the company represents itself as being in New York City, the quality is horrible extremely thin. After looking at the return, they say responsible for shipping and 20% restocking fee. They never said the product actually came from China.

Prior to Christmas, I purchased from Scope Kitchen, two sets of the 36 piece Black Matte Minimalist Flatware sets (72 pieces) the end of November, 2023. These sets took nearly 20 days or more to even arrive. I was not aware that I was ordering from an overseas store until I received a shipping confirmation from overseas, even though the website stated that they ship worldwide. Further, Scope Kitchen shows a New York address along with several other locations supposedly opening. Since these were a present, I did not think to check the return policy prior to ordering, since I thought I was ordering within the US, which is quite disingenuous as the company did not specify that they were overseas, did not reflect the country of origin, and delivery time negated the entire return/delivery process. Instead, I had focused on on-site customer reviews, and the fact that these were matte, which was a requirement, and that they were dishwasher safe. Since these were a Christmas Present to my daughter, they were not even received by the recipient until Christmas Day - well after the 30 day warranty/14-day return policy (after receipt). Frankly, I was concerned that they would not even arrive in time for Christmas after I ordered them. This item’s description states that it is durable and long-lasting, and is dishwasher safe. 100% non-toxic, safe coating. None of which appears to be true. The first problem came after my daughter got them home Christmas Day, and unwrapped them. A couple of the place settings were shiny and not matte as stated in the description. With 30 days of use, several pieces/place settings are pitting, and rusting from normal usage. This is totally unacceptable. Regardless, these are not even worth the shipping price to return, and further, a replacement will do the same thing. I have emailed the company. Nobody responds to the phone. These were ordered the end of November, received just before Christmas, and were given as a Christmas present, and not opened until then. The website shows these in a nice box. The place settings came wrapped in plastic with a rubber band around them as if they were pulled from a bin.

DO NOT trust the glowing reviews. I made that mistake so you shouldn't. Flatware they will send you will come in bundled in a black bag and rubber bands like garbage and the quality is non existent. Handles are so thin and do not look like the photos at all. I wont even give one star if I can give negative stars instead.

The good: the cutlery ordered did arrive, it looks just as advertised and as I'm a material scientist I had the chance to X ray it for anything fishy (heavy metals, what the golden coating is made of,...) and it is all fine. I can't tell how resistant to wear it is.

The bad: the stuff is clearly drop shipped. You can get it for a quarter or less of the price on Amazon from various sellers. It does not come with a box. It came from China and took quite long. The site is a scam, obviously. I ordered from the German page. If you take the time to read their pages it says not all can come with a box and that they don't discriminate and can send from any or their worldwide storage places. Well well well ...

As with previews reviewers. the quality of the items received (full set of french flatware) was bang average at best - and look nothing like the items displayed for sale on their glossy website pictures.
Items arrived from China rolled in cellophane in a grey taped plastic bag - and not contained in the fancy boxes detailed on their site.
The sets were purchased as our good cutlery for special occasions, but we won't be using them for that. They'll do for everyday use although.
Again given previous comments, we won't be testing them in the dishwasher - but shall be washing by hand.
We can't be bothered with the time. trouble and expense of trying to return them for a refund (given the previous comments in other reviews regarding restocking fees etc - this could be what they rely on......)
We're more disappointed with ourselves as we usually review goods prior to making purchases. We didn't on this occasion - and had we read the previous reviews, we would have definitely steered clear of Scope Kitchen. Lesson learned!
We hope this prevents other prospective purchasers from wasting their money.

Echoing previous recent reviewers' negative experiences almost verbatim. Quality product and packaging shown online bore no resemblance whatsoever to the shockingly cheap knock offs received in the post, in rolled up plastic.
I was fortunate enough to have got a 70% refund back (only silver lining was fast communications and quick replies on their end.) The remaining 30 I accept as a self-imposed fine for being foolish enough not to have checked who I was ordering from.
A 20 percent restocking fee for defective stock?! No return address included with delivery? Pushbacks about COVID-19 restrictions when trying to arrange a return like it's 2020? Shockingly poor form.
The "quality French cutlery" set's co-called titanium coating was literally peeling off in my hand and is about as French or titanium coated as I am.

The product I received is NOT the quality that is represented on their site. I requested a refund before it was shipped. They said it got shipped before they could stop it. They responded very quickly to delivery updates but then nothing afterwards. I did not get any response for refund! I went to a wedding on Saturday and there was the set I ordered and should have received! Matched the video on their site as well with rounded stems, not flat stems which is what I received. They are also light weight and not nicely weighted as per their site. One other thing is that when I googled flatware that was not made in China, Scope Kitchen came up and presented a US address. On the site it shows the flatware nicely set in boxes. I received two plastic wrapped rolls from China!! Not at all what is represented on the site. I am so disappointed and truly believe this is a scam site. I’ve also seen reviews on the internet of bad reviews being removed from their site.

I’m from the UK and was introduced to this flatware by a friend in the US. My wife and I had been looking for a new black flatware set because we had to throw our last ones away. They usually tarnish and for our new home, we were looking for quality. Our set was easy to order, came in a great time and they’re so gorgeous! A fantastic weight to them and they are classy and elegant. One knife had some damage, unfortunately, but they wasted no time rectifying the issue once I made them aware. Our replacement knife came at lightning speed and communication was so efficient and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate in ordering our next set from here again. Customer service is so important to me and you can tell it’s important to them too. Just a thoughtful company with stunning products. Simple.

I’ve used Minimalist flatware in matte black and matte gold since 2020 and the Luxury Flatware since they launched in 2021. They're not only beautiful but very high quality. I’ve been dishwashing them since 2020 for my family of 5 with kids and the flatware looks as good as new. I use a Bosch dishwasher. I’ve recommended this to many friends and they love it!
The customer service from Scope Kitchen is also top-notch. They answer you within a few minutes of asking any question. Totally recommended company.

Unusable after 2nd use...
It seems they delete all bad reviews, it's borderline fraudulent, since when you send it back they claim 20% restocking fee, which I have never heard of.
So we decided to keep the terribly packaged cutlery since it looked alright when it arrived - one might hypothesise that this is what they are betting on. After washing the cutlery (for which we paid $130) they are absolutely unusable, even on the first wash they rust like crazy, so much so you can't even wash the rust off, especially from the forks & the spoons lose the color & coating so they're disgusting you definitely wouldn't want to put them in your mouth again. What they represent on the website definitely wasn't what we got

I purchased Minimalist Flatware from Scope Kitchen and it arrived within 3 days, I was super impressed by the service. The product is beautiful and of high quality. The customer service is fantastic, they answer the questions extremely fast. I am super happy with the product and with the company. Definitely ordering more of their beautiful Flatware.
