I got in touch with Widows about my wifes Critical Illness Cover. It's eighty-five thousand pounds to help our family. She was going to get pay from work because shes been really sick with cancer and having chemotherapy. I was hoping it would help us out.. Scottish Widows told us she wouldn't get the money.
This extra stress is awful. My wife is already going through a time. We complained to Widows but it was hard to get someone to talk to. The person dealing with our complaint was always busy or not available. Nobody called us back.
I think Scottish Widows insurance is not good. They seem to do anything to avoid paying out. We've been customers for over twenty years. They wouldn't pay out when we needed it. They didn't review our policy for over fifteen years. Then they didn't tell the truth when we made a complaint.
* Scottish Widows Critical Illness Cover is not worth getting.
* They take your money for years. When you need help they leave you.
* Their customer service is very bad.
Its been hard watching my wife fight cancer and also fighting for the eighty-five thousand pounds. We felt helpless and angry nights.
Then we got in touch with Poma Advisory. They helped us understand why our claim was denied. They looked at the policy details. How our complaint was handled. They worked hard. Helped us get back a big part of the eighty-five thousand pounds. We're thankful to Poma Advisory.
If you've also been unfairly denied a claim by Scottish Widows don't suffer alone. Get in touch, with Poma Advisory.
Don't get Scottish Widows Critical Illness Cover. They'll take your money for decades then let you down when you need them. I don't want anyone else to go through what we went through with Widows.
