Overall a really good service, car was collected within two days of enquiry, despite a hiccup which was easily resolved after contacting them. Good customer service and Beardo the chap collecting the car was very helpful and friendly. Great service.

Great guys. Organised a collection online, they phone me up to organise a date and time to suit me. They even picked my car up a day earlier then arranged which was a bonus.

Had arranged to have my vehicle collected before the Christmas period on an agreed price. The collection was MISSED 4 times, with date and time agreed but constant no shows. On every occasion, I was not informed that collection would not go ahead until the timeslot had passed, making we wait the whole day. When I called to confirm if collection was taking place beforehand, I was told yes but nevertheless that did not happen. Management was a bit helpful with the situation but no compensation offered, only that they apologised, tried to reassure me this is not how they do business and recommended I tried elsewhere. Would not use or recommend the service again due to this bad experience.

No nonsense fast service the price quoted was what I was paid unlike some other car buying companies the collection day and drivers punctuality were spot on the telephone staff clearly explained everything I needed to do before collection and on the day of collection the driver was very friendly he also explained what I had to do regarding vehicle documentation for the scrap process with Dvla payment was made following day no hassle a pleasure to deal with will definitely recommend scrap local to any person wanting to scrap a vehicle and unsure of the process friendly knowledgeable people to deal with

My experience with the scrap company was great, they ensured that I have all relevant information and sent it by text and email. They also went over everything on the phone the customer service was excellent.

I rang scrap local as I was scrapping my old vehicle, the call handler made arrangements for the vehicle to be picked up within a matter of days and quoted me a really good price. The vehicle was picked up very promptly on the appointment date and payment was received by the end of the day.Excellent service all round and highly recommendable. Thankyou

From start to finish it was a stress free experience. The Office Management Team were friendly and supportive ensuring that I understood what docs were required agreeing a collection date/time and when payment would be made. I had a last minute problem and they rearranged my time frame to my convenience. Unlike many firms the while you wait jingle is funny and encourages you to join in !!!
The collection staff member was on time explained what he was doing and even though it was a wet evening was humorous. Positive experience would certainly recommend this company.
