All of our wheels are built with our own rims and hubs, which have been designed in-house by our R&D team and manufactured to our specific designs/specifications.

We put a lot of work into designing, testing (real-world + wind tunnel) and optimising our wheels, and it's great to hear the hard work has paid off!

Hi Gorazd,

Thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm sorry to hear you weren't completely satisfied with our response.

I've reviewed our recent emails with you, and I can see you mentioned that you noticed a problem with your wheel but kept riding it for a few months until the problem became worse.

Please try to understand, it would have been best if you had contacted us as soon as you noticed the problem. Continuing to ride will have caused extra stress to the wheel's rim, forcing the cracks you mentioned.

Regarding the discount we provided, I can see that as a goodwill gesture (since you were beyond your 3 year warranty), we reduced the price of a new Pace rim brake front wheel by €60 and also reduced the price of upgraded ceramic bearings by €20 too. We feel this is quite a generous discount, and as a relatively small business, it's the very best offer we could make.

It's also worthwhile mentioning, as with any mechanical item that's being used often and is exposed to the elements, that occasional maintenance and servicing are essential. I noticed in our emails that you mentioned you hadn't had the spoke tensions checked in the 3 years that you had your wheels. During a yearly bike service, a bike mechanic would routinely check your wheel's spoke tensions.

It's a shame you now feel disappointed with your wheels, as in your emails, you mentioned you've had a blast riding with them over the last 3 years.

We hope that when you fit your new Pace rim brake wheel, you can get back to having a blast on your bike again very soon!
