I was worried about a pre existing condition, I know it's not affecting my health but didn't want a potential claim turned down if I didn't declare it, but I was concerned about the effect on my premium it would have if I did declare it. I needn't have worried, after ringing southern cross they put all my fears to rest. After declaring my pre existing condition and electing not to have it covered it had zero effect on my premium.
I highly recommend Southern cross medical travel insurance.

The online quote and sign up process was easy and fast with confirmation sent via email immediately. I didn't make any claims so I cannot speak for that part.

I could not give an entirely honest review, because I never had a need for it on this trip. The peace of mind was definitely 5 star worthy. The price was very reasonable.

Very easy online application process and the pre-existing medical conditions section was very well designed and simple to complete.

The journey was well run the only criticism was that on the Journey from Melbourne the hand dryer on the toilet car C wasn't working and we came back a day later from Adelaide to Melbourne same car C and it still wasn't working, which I though was a bit slack at least have some hand towels available for people to dry their hands with, and the windows were dirty which lessened the experience as you spend most of your time looking out the window over the 10.5 hours travel.
