Timothy was great! Super friendly, explained things very clearly and made me feel comfortable with the process.

I hired SDC on April 13, 2026 to pickup 1 bedroom furniture from storage in NYC and deliver to South Shore Nova Scotia by June 2nd, 2026. Once I signed the contract I started getting jerked around by different logistics handlers and was told the truck is dedicated, the truck is shared, the pickup date is mid April then May 12/13 then May 19/20 then May 25th then June 3rd. No delivery timeframes or dates were given, no information on customs, inventory list, etc. I gave up and had a house with no furniture and no communication so planned to fly back to US and suddenly got a call and was told to meet them at Halifax customs and get my shipment. I had to re-arrange my travel more than once and my work schedule (I was delighted my goods finally showed up) but I can not recommend anyone use this company. Once you sign the contract you basically get what you get if you get it when they feel like it. It also cost alot!! for less than 500 cf one bedroom. In the end the move was done I got my furniture end of.

I found SDC through several searches, comparing videos and reviews among multiple recommended moving companies. After a phone call reviewing the quote, I decided to choose this company for our move from Wisconsin to the Philippines. I should preface this with, I chose to only pack boxes and no furniture, but we did pack delicate things like china and many dishes and wine glasses. The boxes were picked up Feb and arrived in mid May, they did well communicating the unforseen delays as a result of the global transportation logistics (expected because of the rapid rise of gas prices at the time). The delivery time doubled, and communicated well in advance.

All of this to say, even with the delay, None of our items arrived damaged. Everything was intact and I was very grateful. The communication by all members of the company were kind and cordial and the moving companies they worked with internationally were also amazing. This company had such good communication which made my anxiety go down a lot.

Highly recommend this company for moving services.

SDC International is a very professional, up-front, and skilled organization. They had answers for all my questions about how to get my stuff from L.A. to the UK...and how to do so without killing myself packing!
They got a me quote quickly, sent a speedy team of packers to box up everything I couldn't do on my own, and provided my invoice quickly.
Such a relief to have this part of a BIG life change done and dusted!

We mostly had contact with Mr. Shon Levi and he was a gem for us. Since we have very little experience in these matters, he guided us patiently and friendly through the paperwork and never was annoyed, even when we have changed things (more than once!).

To Christian: I never write reviews and have never done an International move. I moved to Germany with suitcases to try and build a future there with someone which ultimately didn´t work out.
