Bought a bathing suit

Bought a bathing suit, coverup and matching bag at a U.S retailer.

Washed the coverup for the first time and the blue ran over the coverup and the bathing suit which was being washed at the same time. The dye repeatedly turned the washer water deep blue when I subsequently re-rinsed the garments.

I emailed and they referred me to their ( small) retailer.

They should be ashamed to sell items with such abhorrent quality and deflect responsibility. Costly error buying their brand

They didn’t even care to know the style number or details to look into this matter further. It’s an awful company. Perhaps the worst I’ve ever come across .

worn once, looks like 20 times

Bought a costume and dress last week, wore it once for no more than a few hours and it is full of pulls and looks as if it’s been worn 20 times. Emailed customer service to be told o purchased from a wholesaler when I purchased from Dubai Mall official store and also provided them with a receipt.

Worst quality I have ever seen and really shocked and disappointed considering the price point. Plus the fact customer service don’t help much doesn’t make it any easier!

Would never recommend and never purchase again

Never received items

Ordered a number of items, got an email to say they were delivered and no sign of them anywhere.

When I email customer service I get two AI responses. When I call the customer service team I am told they will look into it, no response for 24 hours, when I call them back still no resolutions.

I am really unsatisfied

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

I ordered the Long Sleeve Boyleg Zip Front Surfsuit - Black for £120 from this company 2 years ago, when it arrived I absolutely loved it so I only wore it for special occasions - less than 10 times - as it looked so fab and now it's perished, the elastane is completely perished and it's now unwearable. I emailed the company directly as I was so gutted and they told me my photos were "consistent with normal wear and tear over time" and they basically didn't expect it to last for more than two years or more than a few wears. They also said that elastane perishes when exposed to sunlight or if stored for a long time. I have a tankini which I bought before going to Thailand for 6 months in 2014, I wore it regularly on the beach and in the sea, then forgot about it for about 3 years before finding it again and now I regularly wear it for swimming in pools and lakes. It's honestly as good as new, no wear yet at all.

These products are so expensive and WILL NOT LAST so please don't waste your money.

Worst customer service I have…

Worst customer service I have experienced in fact there isn’t any…

Bought swimwear and paid for the fastest delivery at an extra £15.

Took ages to arrive so missed having for my holiday.

Wanted to return when I got back but they were going to charge me for returning an item that was late and I had already paid £15 extra for.

Emailed they said they would send DHL to collect the item.

Two weeks later I am still waiting for label/forms to return the item and nothing.

Have emailed and called ( no one answers) have left messages. Nothing. Still waiting to hear from them.

The worst service from any company I have ever ordered from.

I would give zero stars if I could.

Impossible to get hold of a customer…

Impossible to get hold of a customer rep. I bought matching top and bottom pride 10.00 delivery. To be told they were out of stock of the bottoms then sent me the top and now I have to complete a refund and pay more delivery fees. What a joke end up with nothing but out of pocket expenses. They do not answer their pho e or respond to emails. Reluctant to give them 1 star. Don't buy from this brand

Disappointed

Very disappointing that such a well known Australian brand is so unorganised with so many bad reviews. I bought a couple of sale items only to be refunded on one as I was emailed that it was out of stock.
It seems this is a very common occurance and extremely frustrating

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Although I have purchased and liked Seafolly swimwear the customer service and returns process is very poor and means that I will no longer purchase products from this company. I purchased an item that looked very different when it arrived. I tried to return this and was sent a link to generate a returns label, which did not work. I have now emailed four times, over a two week period, requesting that they email me the returns label and it is yet to arrive.

DO NOT buy Jets swimwear

DO NOT buy Jets swimwear! $148 paid for a beautiful bikini set that discoloured horrifically after one holiday. Jets refused to refund as I had the set for more than 30 days. I had ordered in advance of my holiday so very normal for it not to be worn until 30 days had lapsed. Also, don't bother ringing, answers, puts you on hold and cuts you off every time. There is absolutely nothing Australian about this brand. Poor quality and dreadful customer service. Thanks for wasting my money

Terrible Company

Terrible Company. I purchased a swimsuit on their end of financial year sale. After 5 days i hadn't had any emails to confirm item was dispatched so i chased them up. 9 Days later they respond 'unfortunately this item is sold out and your order cannot be fulfilled' but we have refunded you. There was no gesture of good will like here's 10% of a future order for inconvenience and our lack of customer service. The real reason is because the item was heavily discounted from the original price which they clearly didn't want to sell at that price. The item is now on another Australian company website for a lot more than Seafolly's 'sale' price. So they obviously sell these on and make a bigger mark up.
Honestly from reading other reviews it looks like I'm not the only one so please do not fill this companies pocket with your hard earned money. They don't deserve it! one word 'Karma'

Very poor customer service - impossible to return

As another reviewer has said, customer service is non existent, at least from the UK. Their website does not make explicit that sales items are non-refundable. I emailed to request a refund as items were too small and the website was unclear - this was agreed, but no information provided on how and where to ship the returns. Have emailed several times now and phoned the so-called customer service number and only got a recorded message. Would never shop from these cowboys again.

Terrible quality and customer service

Terrible quality and customer service. I bought bathers for my daughter and after 2 wears the lettering came off and the colour ran significantly. Seafolly were completely unhelpful and wouldn’t assist at all. I’ll never buy Seafolly again.

Beware of 30 day refund policy.

Beware. I purchased some bikini bottoms from the UK website of this company. I paid full price for them and I was hoping to purchase a top separately as this website had sold out in my size. Despite the terms and conditions on the product page saying 30 days money back guarantee ( with plastic strip intact) their customer service people tell me they’re ’final sale’ and not returnable. No where does it say this on product page or in the terms and conditions! This lack of transparency seems very unfair.

It’s been a month and apparently my order is ‘not shipped’. I’ve had no response to an email.
I think it’s been taken over by an Asian company and that’s sad. The company was started here in the West and I knew the founders, lovely local folk.

Do not recommend ordering directly from…

Do not recommend ordering directly from Seafolly if you're in the UK. Order from a UK supplier such as M&S instead. Unfortunately the product I wanted wa only available directly from Seafolly. Delivery cost £15 but arrived on time. Product quality is excellent. I needed to return and order a different size which where things went wrong. I initiated the return on the Seafolly website and got the return label. DHL never arrived to pick it up and I had no way of contacting them. Seafolly customer service helped arrange a recollection but again it was not collected. There is no option to drop it off at a collection point and I doubt I will be able to return it now within the return window. I do recommend the product, I don't recommend buying it directly from Seafolly.

Discrimination, body shaming, racism

Today my family and I experienced the most disturbing incident which occurred today at your Seafolly store on McEvoy St Alexandria, by your store clerks Chloe, Monica and Shammi at 1 pm on 21/01/2023.
My husband, daughter, niece and I were shopping for swimwear when the clerks started observing us from the moment we walked in; they were looking at each other, making us feel most uncomfortable. While my 8 year old niece was walking through the rack and looking at the items, a hanger attached to her clothing, one of the clerks alerted her to the fact and my niece apologised and returned it to the rack immediately. My husband observed the clerk as he heard her speak with a negative tone and saw the clerk looking at her colleagues and rolling her eyes, shortly after my daughter picked a costume to look at and when she returned it to the rack, it fell to the floor, my daughter immediately collected the item off the floor and returned it to the rack. At that point, my husband saw the same girl that rolled her eyes at my niece watching my daughter and making her feel uncomfortable with the manner in which she was watching her. My daughter came and whispered in her dad’s ears, saying “can we leave please” as she was so uncomfortable.
At this point, my husband explained to my daughter that she should not worry. He stated in a clear voice that the girls in this store are rude and showed us a lot of attitudes; the girl that rolled her eyes responded, “sorry, I didn’t look at you in any way” he responded that I’m not blind, she responded, “maybe you are”, when I heard this, I asked “what is your problem” they responded ”we didn’t do anything”, I left the items of clothing. My husband asked for the three girls names; I stated that their behaviour was disgusting and that I will be complaining to head office.
My daughter who is 12 years old and my niece who is 8 years old are devastated, they haven’t stopped crying and feeling very sad.
Are these the values you show your customers? Is this how a women’s swimwear clothing label empowers women as young girls by body shaming?
I am deeply concerned with the attitude of your store clerks, this is discrimination, and I will take this matter further.
