Complete Scam artist. Call you saying ''they've been managing your google account'' (Basically then read you public google details back to you on the phone to make it seem like they know your information). Then without making it clear or known - bind you into a verbal renewal agreement by saying ''your invoice for this year is XX'' would you rather pay bacs or transfer. All you have to say is ''email me the invoice and you're ''tied in''. Email them request a SARS, ask for evidence of INITAL agreement and also request for detailed evidence for what service they have actually provided your business.

Total scam, called our business saying they run our website. I challenged this knowing they dont, they said they mean our google page. Which they also dont run. They requested £150 for an outstanding invoice but they supply nothing. Pushy sales guy on the phone will keep calling back. Had issues with them 2 years ago and suddenly contacting us again.

Absolute scam, we have been paying £150.00 a year for absolutely nothing. They automatically renew your contract and send you invoices which you don't agree with, judging by the rest of the reviews of this company I'm not alone. I wish this coming would get shut down by the financial ombudsman for their wrong doing.

This company bamboozled me into another years contract after a very long, and irritating cold call a few weeks ago.
The salesman read me every review my business has received (which I’ll add are mostly 5 stars- more than can be said for this sham of a company!) and went through name, address phone number opening hours and over inflated figures on how many clicks and maps references the page has received due to their service. After that I told him the call had taken me by surprise and that I needed to think about it. He offered me another discount and I agreed he could send over the details in an email. He asked me what my payment method was likely to be and I agreed it would be card payment IF I decided to go ahead. Well it turns out that that was me agreeing to another year of their service!!! After that I was sent an invoice which was followed up by daily phone calls I got emails, letters, more invoices, and calls after calls! I told them I didn’t agree to anything, but apparently me agreeing to a payment method was me agreeing to another year!!!! Disgusting way to behave. And after reading all the other reviews I’m clearly not the only small business owner they’ve pi55ed off over the course of the last few months!

As previously stated avoid!!! Very misleading and cleverly scripted I was contacted and told as a repeat customer I was getting a discount this year, question what the service was and it was explained. Was still a little unsure but stupidly said yes. When I went to pay realised I had never paid by bacs so emailed and questioned when I had last used the service as I had no record- no reply. Was called at a later date chasing payment so questioned again and was told I had paid by card the last 2 times. After lots more probing admitted it was 2018!!! Again a small company with limited resources that they prey on hoping that we will get scared and pay as we cant afford to go the legal route. Take me to court!!

I had a call from the company - i told them i was out of the office and send me the information and i will look in to it. I then called a day or two later to say we didnt need the service - they do not accept this despite them sending me the call to which i say as above. We are a small family business that is now being harassed by letters weekly and threats of CCJ - they have a cleverly worded script that if you even dont fully agree too they tie you in. Poor standards.

Currently going through exactly the same, have now been threatened with a ccj, we are a very small company and are getting daily harassment calls by this company. We do not want this service but they do not take no for an answer, we had to pay again last year because they wouldn't take no for an answer. We can't afford a legal team to help us neither do we want a ccj. Search Point do the right thing and support these businesses, I will be calling that number today and hoping I can come back on here with a positive outcome.

Ok so a couple of years ago a rep named Izzy PATEL, turned up at my workplace and told me she worked for google, she had the google logo on her business card.
She told me that these paid places on google were all a scam and all I had to do was pay a yearly fee to google to add keywords etc. Unfortunately I believed this and took on the 12 month google listing.
I even renewed it once maybe twice until I realised that the I was wasn’t even coming up on the first page of google for my list of keywords. I contacted Izzy Patel on her mobile number and asked her to come in and have a look if there was anything else i could add to be visible. She agreed to come in after she got back from Thailand, she never turned up. When the renewal was up, I was contacted to pay the next 12 months, I started on the call that I would have to hold off on the renewal as my website and marketing was being updated. The guy on the phone said yes no problem, I will can send the details via email so I could pay when I have made a decision. Then I was hounded daily by phone calls, as well a letters urging me to pay. I then told the next caller I didn’t want the service as initially it was sub standard. I was told I had entered an agreement. I asked for telephone recording that I clearly say I will have to hold off on renewing…… etc. I was then told that they took the conversation as I had agreed and there was no way of cancelling. I am now receiving phone calls threatening court action which I have said over and over I will contest. Looking at the mostly 1 star reviews saying the same I am sure this is a total scam! The only 5 star reviews are people with the surname PATEL, like IZZY PATEL that first blagged me saying she was Google

Firsty AVOID i have never seen a company ring so many times its more than Harrassmemt!! Been with this company tried to cancel but was told cant its a roll over contract theres nothing they can do now you have to give 30-45 days notice to cancel but no one emailed me or sent letter to say it dwas up which by law they should!! They ring trying to get to my company what we need to pay and update tge account and put a DO NOT ROLL over on account but when asked about this previously was told they cant do that! The bullying and pestering should be illegal. Do not give them any details pure daylight Robbery. They just do not listen to you wont let you talk im done with them seeking legal action i have read all your reviews and by the looks of it a few of you have. The mental health side is of this company to pursue vulnerable people is obsurb

Constant calls, I informed the company I left my old address and was sourcing a new premise, but
informed them twice I cannot be committed, have no business premise, so nothing to advertise.
I tried to end the conversation politely a few times, but the agent was badgering me for a yes, I did not know I was been recorded at this stage, I tried asking him to ring back August 2024 when I have a clear view of my business needs.
But no he went on and on.
He offered me a reduced rate, I tried again to end the conversation
I did say "all alright" a few times.
They took this as an agreement
I just acknowledged what he said, meaning I was only listening to him, but also I was trying to get rid of him so I could block him.
I have since asked for proof of Agreement and Term and Conditions, if they are a a member of ADR scheme.
But they must never communicate with each other as just get calls to pay invoice they sent via email.

The contact name you had on the account, left the business last year, the person who answered the phone had no authorisation to make any decisions and therefore politely informed the caller to put everything in an email as the person who deals with the decision making would be back from annual leave the following Monday. The caller did not ask for the full name of the person they were talking to so they weren't talking to the contact they had on account and failed to listen to the instructions they were given. Therefore that is down to the failings of the caller, and search point as a whole! And it's not how a genuine respectable business would conduct themselves. Again all you are doing is being very pushy and trying to bully just to make a sale and the call recording doesn't confirm any agreement to go ahead with anything apart from sending the information by email so the correct person can pick it up. I politely request you remove our contact details from your system and do not contact us ever again, as we consider this matter now closed.

Having used Searchpoint for a while and not really understanding what our business was gaining by paying for their services, when they recently called to renew the contract, we told them we wanted to think about it before committing. Since that date, they just keep sending invoices. We have tried calling but the phones never answer, so we emailed instead asking them to cease sending letters and invoices and telling them we never agreed to this. Still the invoices just keep arriving and now a final demand. We never agreed to renew for another year. We wish we had done the research before ever getting involved with them. Awful company!!!

As a small company we decided not to continue with the services of Searchpointuk because our business was downsizing & changing direction. In Oct 2023 I was contacted by telephone whilst driving with a withheld number (I was waiting for news from hospital about some treatment so answered the withheld number call) it was Searchpointuk - despite my initial hesitation in renewing the service for a 12 month period I was told that my business would suffer and all of the "good work" done over the last couple of years would be wasted. I agreed to a 6 month extension at a reduced rate but still felt pressured. After reflection I decided not to proceed and contacted Searchpointuk to cancel my agreement. I was told that this was not possible because we had entered into a verbal contract and Searchpoint had the voice recording from the initial telephone call. I reluctantly paid the fee and then notified them by email, telephone & written correspondence that I was terminating my account. Thinking this was all over & done with - how wrong. Had a phone call today from Searchpointuk on a withheld number notifying me that the annual subscription was now due. I have very politely for the sake of call recording confirmed that I had terminated my contract after the last payment in October. You could not make it up - Keep away from these people for your own sanity. I wish I had read some of the reviews on this Company before getting involved. Such a shame.

I had the displeasure of dealing with SearchPoint UK recently, and let me tell you, it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. The sheer level of unprofessionalism and rudeness I encountered during a simple phone call was astounding.

They called me to inquire about a product they were offering, and from the get-go, the sales representative was pushy and aggressive. They seemed more interested in making a sale than actually helping me. When I politely declined to make a purchase after realizing it wasn't suitable for my needs, they became downright rude.

Instead of accepting my decision like any reputable company would, they resorted to bullying tactics, trying to guilt-trip and coerce me into buying their product. When it became clear that I wasn't going to budge, they abruptly hung up on me without so much as a goodbye or a thank you for my time.

This level of disrespect and lack of basic customer service is utterly appalling. It's clear that SearchPoint UK values profits over people, and I refuse to support a business that treats potential customers in such a disgraceful manner.

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of SearchPoint UK. There are plenty of other companies out there that actually value their customers and understand the meaning of professionalism.

Never agreed to renew with them. Apparently they bully you and try and convince you that you agreed over the phone. Since when has send me the details to look over mean you agree to have a contract. Keep on calling and I have emailed twice to cancel but no one has replied ! Terrible service

We have been dealing with Search Point for a number of years but refused to pay the last subscription as they promised they would take the previous business owners reviews off our page which has never happened. This had gone on for 2-3 years and they said they would but never did.
Then I came across this review site and the light came on as they are scammers.

I deeply regret engaging with Search Point UK and would strongly advise against using their services. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Upon nearing the end of my contract, I expressed my desire not to continue with Search Point UK. However, despite speaking to them on the phone, they relentlessly pursued me, bombarding me with numerous phone calls demanding payment for their service.

During one of their renewal calls, Search Point UK insisted I pay £346, claiming it was for maintaining my Google listing. I explicitly explained to the sales representative that the address displayed on my website did not match my actual business address. I requested that they list my business separately in Taunton, Dorchester, and Yeovil. The representative agreed to these changes and assured me it would only cost £96.

Unfortunately, to this day, Search Point UK has failed to deliver the promised service, yet they persistently harass me with phone calls and threatening letters. As if that weren't enough, they have even threatened legal action against me for a service they never provided.

The conduct of Search Point UK is highly unethical and indicative of their exploitative nature. They seem solely interested in extorting money from small businesses like mine. I intend to seek legal advice to defend myself and ensure that other small businesses do not fall victim to their predatory practices.

In summary, I strongly urge you to steer clear of any services offered by Search Point UK. Their behaviour is disgraceful, and they are clearly more focused on profiting at the expense of small businesses than providing satisfactory services.

This company will misguide and take your money in a blink of an eye.
I accidentally signed for their services. The information given varies across the board and misleading. And when I wanted to cancel and get a refund to an agreed contract they challenged me, even though I had NOT signed a contract
