purchase, receiving, and using tickets was easy and smooth. The big issue was parking I intended to purchase one parking space the Mariners Garage but, ended up with two as it was a bit confusing and... See more

Paid $3,700 for World Cup Tickets — Turned Away at the Stadium Door. SeatGeek Failed to Deliver.
I purchased two tickets through SeatGeek for the USA vs Turkey FIFA World Cup 2026 match at SoFi Stadium (Order ID: 6P2-4DY58YQ). I paid $3,715.68. I was never able to enter the stadium.
SeatGeek failed to communicate my email address and order details to FIFA, meaning no tickets were ever issued to my FIFA account. I discovered this only after months of back-and-forth with SeatGeek's customer service — during which different agents gave me completely contradictory information. Some told me my order was "fulfilled" and that FIFA would send the tickets closer to the match date. Another agent later admitted that FIFA had never accepted SeatGeek's order. I contacted FIFA directly and they confirmed they had no record of my email address in their system.
Despite all of this, I traveled to Los Angeles. I booked flights, a hotel near SoFi Stadium, and a car rental. I took three days off from work. On match day, I walked up to the SoFi Stadium ticketing booth — and was turned away. Staff confirmed on the spot that FIFA had no record of my tickets.
My total loss, including travel and accommodation, exceeds $6,000.
Customer service response? Weeks of delays, scripted replies, and an offer of a promo code — not a cash refund — for the ticket amount only, with no acknowledgment of my travel costs whatsoever.
My warning to anyone considering SeatGeek for high-value events:
If something goes wrong, do not expect SeatGeek to take responsibility or make you whole. Their agents lack consistent and accurate information, and their resolution process is slow, frustrating, and inadequate for the scale of loss a ticket delivery failure can cause. For a $3,700+ purchase tied to travel, this level of service is unacceptable.
How SeatGeek can do better:
1. Establish a direct, verified communication pipeline with major event organizers like FIFA before selling tickets — not after problems arise.
2. Train customer service agents to give consistent, accurate information. Contradictory guidance over months is not a minor inconvenience; it causes real financial harm.
3. Offer genuine monetary refunds — not platform credits — when a ticket delivery failure is confirmed. A customer who never received what they paid for should not be expected to spend more money with the same platform.
4. Acknowledge consequential losses. When a customer travels for an event based on your assurances, and your failure causes them to miss it, the conversation cannot end at the ticket price alone.
I am currently pursuing a full refund through all available legal channels. I am sharing this experience publicly so that other consumers can make an informed decision before trusting SeatGeek with a high-stakes purchase.
SeatGeek Delayed My Claim Until Honoring Their Guarantee Cost Too Much
SeatGeek's Buyer Guarantee is worthless if they can simply delay until honoring it becomes too expensive.
I purchased last-minute tickets to the Frisco RoughRiders Fourth of July game as a birthday surprise for my husband. Within minutes of receiving the tickets, I realized SeatGeek had sent me the wrong tickets (21+ section vs General admissionlawn seats). I immediately contacted support, exactly as their Buyer Guarantee says customers should do.
I then spent over three hours trying to get SeatGeek to correct their mistake. I spent 2.5 hours on chat support with a representative who repeatedly assured me I would make it to the game, yet didn't even escalate my case until more than an hour after I requested it. When nothing was happening, I spent another 30 minutes on the phone trying to get someone to help.
After wasting over three hours, I was told SeatGeek would not replace the tickets because the price difference had become too great. The irony? The tickets had only doubled in price because I had spent those three hours waiting for SeatGeek to act. Had they fixed the issue when I first reported it, the cost difference would have been minimal. Instead, they delayed until honoring their Buyer Guarantee became more expensive, then used that increased cost as the reason they wouldn't honor it.
Then, to top it off they would not refund my parking passes because we could "still use them" For what?!? They refunded my tickets and told me to repurchase. For almost double?!? I think not!
We missed the game. We missed the Fourth of July fireworks. My husband's birthday surprise was ruined. Every assurance that I'd make it to the game turned out to be false.
If SeatGeek's guarantee only applies when it's convenient for them, then it isn't a guarantee at all. It's marketing. I'll never use SeatGeek again.
It's a hit or miss gambling
It's a hit or miss gambling. Seat Geek don't do much to deliver tickets to clients, seller won't send the tickets as they try to sell it higher price while keeping an option to deliver if they can't sell it higher price to someone else. You as a client just stay hanging till last min and will miss the game if you are driving far from home to the game. Bottom line it's not a scam but close to be a scam as the seller has the upper hand and seat geek is can't do much to get you the tickets. I got scammed already and now writing this to folks who can benefit from it. You decide what you want to do?
Wrong seat sent, would do nothing!!
I was sent the wrong seat and seatgeek literally just said sine it was already sent I was stuck with it No exchange, no refunds!! Seatgeek has a tab under perks where you can select aisle seats only.I selected an aisle seat( seat 1 )which was available.Even on the description before I purchased it it read guaranteed to be an aisle seat. They sent seat 3. Seatgeek customer service would do nothing. Will be using Stubhub from now on.
I was scammed using Seat Geek
I was scammed using Seat Geek. I purchased VIP parking for the Apple Bowl in Kelowna BC. But I received a pass for a parking garage 5 hours away in downtown Vancouver. Customer service at Seat Geek is nonexistent and they are refusing to refund $59.00CAD as I was informed that all sales were final despite their 'Guarantee' Seat Geek needs to be shutdown!
Do not use Seat Geek
Paid $2500 for World Cup tickets. Went to the stadium parked. The tickets never showed up. Game started. Talked to an agent. She said she will be refunding our money and if the tickets showed up we could go in we were walking back to carbs it was halftime at this point. Some ticket show up into my account they were not the tickets I had bought however we decided to go catch the second half of the game since it was the World Cup. Sea geek is now telling me they can only offer an $800 credit to our account because we use the tickets. However, the lady said we could use tickets if they showed up. They were the wrong tickets, worse section and they showed up halfway through the event. Do not buy tickets through Seat Geek. I told them I didn’t want the credit because I would not be using their company again. They need to honor what they said otherwise we would not have went in the game.
I would give zero stars if possible
I would give zero stars if possible. Company customer service is a joke.
Absolutely horrible experience with…
Absolutely horrible experience with SeatGeek. I bought two tickets, but they never showed up in the app. When I contacted customer support through the chat, the representative started the conversation and then completely stopped responding. I’ve been waiting for hours with no update and no resolution.
The worst part is that you can’t even call anyone. You’re forced to rely on a chat system that apparently doesn’t care if customers are left hanging. When you’ve spent your money on event tickets, the last thing you should have to do is chase down customer support with no response.
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve had. If you’re thinking about buying tickets through SeatGeek, be aware that if something goes wrong, getting help may be nearly impossible.
So I spent hungry of dollars on two tickets, screenshot the receipts the the customer service agent and they ghost me. Now I’m out of hundreds of dollars
I chose Seat Geek after I noticed they…had the best ranking for online purchases
I chose Seat Geek after I noticed they were ranked highest in online Angel ticket purchases. The finding of seat locations and views were great, and I purchased tickets based on that. I then noticed they offered parking, so I clicked it, preferred parking was $29, and when I went to pay , it said it was no longer available at that price and was now $41. Excuse me! A 40+% increase within 5 minutes of starting to book? That is a terrible way to do business.
Great service with competitive prices
Do NOT recommend
Do NOT recommend. Two days before my event someone who barely spoke English called to tell me that the seller "made a mistake" and I can move to new seats 10 rows over, which were not at all where I wanted to sit. Felt like a total scam. How is it even possible to make this mistake on this platform? Doesn't Seat Geek require you to prove you actually have tickets and the seats you say you have before you try to sell them? Apparently not. Last time I ever buy tickets here.
Doesn’t connect properly to MLB app
Doesn’t connect properly to MLB app. Made me lose money not being able to sell.
Lack of Refund. We were scheduled to attend an event…
We were scheduled to attend an event with tickets purchased on SeatGeek. The game was rained out. The tickets were not refunded. I lost $130.00. I would not recommend dealing with them.
Horrible company
Horrible company. I will never use any more, and advices don’t use “seat geek”. If you selling tickets because personal reasons they will take half money. Other part of your money you will never get because they will ask for so many sensitive informations about debit account , router number , soc. Security number….
Only because they would like to give up and left money as extra profit. Think about that before you use this company Seat Geek.
⭐☆☆☆☆ Scam Company with Scam Sellers — Buyer Beware
⭐☆☆☆☆
My sister and I purchased concert tickets through SeatGeek on March 23, and after more than a week of trying to resolve an issue with our order, we still have no valid tickets and no real answers.
The seller originally sent us a ticket link that only displayed a 404 error. Since then, we’ve made 6 phone calls, sent multiple emails, and provided screenshots documenting the issue. Every representative has given us different information, but no one has actually resolved the problem.
Our latest call tonight was by far the worst. The representative, Raul, was rude, dismissive, and repeatedly interrupted us whenever we tried to explain what had been happening. Instead of listening, he became argumentative and spoke over us throughout the conversation. We were then placed on hold for more than 20 minutes.
When Raul finally returned, he claimed he had contacted the seller and that the seller would transfer our tickets to our Ticketmaster account within 3 days. That explanation raised even more questions than answers. The seller doesn’t have our Ticketmaster account information, and if they were truly able to transfer the tickets, why would they wait 3 days instead of sending them immediately? Even more concerning, every other SeatGeek representative we spoke with over the past week told us they had been unable to reach the seller. Somehow, Raul claimed he reached them at 11:30 p.m. CT. The explanation simply wasn’t believable.
At this point, we’ve lost confidence in SeatGeek’s customer service. Instead of receiving honest communication and a timely resolution, we’ve been met with conflicting information, long hold times, broken promises, and unprofessional treatment.
Customers spend hundreds of dollars trusting SeatGeek to deliver valid tickets and provide support when something goes wrong. We did everything we were supposed to do, yet we’ve spent over a week chasing a resolution while being passed from one representative to another. This entire experience has been frustrating, stressful, and incredibly disappointing.
We are requesting that SeatGeek immediately provide comparable replacement tickets for the event, as promised under the Buyer Guarantee, so that we can attend the concert we paid for. We have been more than patient and have exhausted every reasonable avenue to resolve this issue. We expect this matter to be addressed as soon as possible.
I cannot recommend SeatGeek based on the way this situation has been handled.
Easy to use
Easy to use, Fair fees and great selection. It seamlessly syncs with my MLB account and is nothing like my experience with competing ticket sites. It's the real deal.

Terrible company
Advertise tickets for an event run strictly through Ticketmaster with non-transferable tickets. I pressed them for two weeks straight about this, and they told me relax it’s fine. Once I check with Ticketmaster, it really was fine, it in fact was not. I then had to get a lawyer involved in order for me to get a refund. Completely ridiculous company, only response when it’s convenient for them.
If I could give them a "0" I would
If I could give them a "0" I would. Worst experience ever! They delivered parking passes 45 minutes after the event started. When I disputed the charge, they claimed they never received my documentation which I sent twice, along with 2 separate emails asking them to confirm they had received my documentation. Worst ticketing service ever!
