Not about a purchase but the integrity of the company
I have not purchased anything at Seats and Sofas but I had all the intention to. About 3 weeks ago I started seeing all these advertisements, on TV, in my IG feed and in general on google and websites for all these amazing deals! Take a great sofa starting at EUR 399. I went on the website and looked at several of the offers carefully looking through the pictures and insisted to my boyfriend that we go to Seats and Sofas and check it out. We don't have any near so we had to travel 30 minutes to get to one. After spending an hour there quarreling with the representatives, who will by the way say anything (even things that reflect bad on the company) to sell you something, we realized that Seats and Sofas employs the dirtiest marketing tactics to get customers to their stores where you cannot even see the cheapest models. The one time we managed to find a price tag on one of the displayed models the representative had the face to tell us that was only the price for one of the parts of the couch and not the whole thing, which is also clearly misleading since the tag did not indicate that and the other part of the couch did not have a tag to begin with. So the clickbait is real, they show you the nicest of sofas on the advertisements and only selectively choose to show that you cannot get that one for EUR 399 but only the basic model which you can never see, neither online nor in the stores. I call this false advertisement and manipulation, yes capitalism works like that but come on Seats and Sofas, if you trust you are selling quality products you should know better and if you know you are not selling quality products then stop spending all your money on phony marketing and advertisement and invest in your products. What a waste of our time, we left frustrated and with no couch. Plus, I realized you can find seats and sofas couches on Marktplaats for like EUR 150, don't waste your time if you are looking to purchase one of their deals.
