I ordered one yard of 54" clear window…
I ordered one yard of 54" clear window vinyl. A 30% discount was offered as it was a "remnant." What I received was two 54" lengths of 22" wide material.
When I called to ask about the discrepancy, I learned that a product marketed as a "remnant" may come in smaller pieces that add up to the total amount of material requested. (I had not noticed that warning when placing the order.)
The remnant policy makes sense for fabric from which smaller pieces can be stitched together to form the required size. It does not make sense for window vinyl which needs to have a single piece of the proper size or the project doesn't work.
I was disappointed and need to order more material, from a different vendor, obviously.
