Horrible Communication, Lied About Shipment

Ordered an item, which claimed to arrive by the end of the week, which was great because I needed this item for a trip. Received an email that my item had shipped but no tracking # the day after order. The day AFTER the item was originally supposed to arrive I get another email with a tracking #, and I check on USPS and it says the label was just created, 5 days after I placed the order. I live all the way across the country, so I'm going to assume it won't be here for my trip tomorrow. Not sure on item quality, but they truly screwed me on this not being here on time, I would have paid extra to get the item faster, and now I will never purchase an item from this place again.

Reality Check Needed

Sold and invoiced as new despite having a "recycled" label on the outside of the box. Promised to give credit once it was return, but that didn't happen either. I'm not an attorney, but the term "fraud" comes to mind. If there was a 0 star opportunity this place would qualify.

You lost a customer

This is the third time SecondiPITY has shipped out a defective open box utility cart. When I return it back to them, the Staff at SecondiPITY flagged and restricted my account because I have purchased over $2000 worth of merchandise from them, and they think that I’m a reseller. Actually, I’m an INVESTOR! My response to these MORONS IS DON’T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU!

Poor quality product to trick you so AVOID

Their product were made for only 30 day money back guarantee window, then they let it brokedn. Bought a electronic toothbrush and it did not work in less than 2 month. Nothing they can do as their proudcts are secondhand

Avoid

The price is great, but there's a reason. I ordered a "new" water pitcher filter. It arrived in a giant shipping box with no padding (ie. packing peanuts, styrofoam, etc.), so the pitcher box was just rattling around the giant box the entire time. As you can guess, the pitcher was broken where it had likely been dropped. The pitcher box itself had clearly been opened, and contained none of the original packaging or paperwork at all, aside of the box. It feels like a returned item that was thrown (probably literally) into a huge cardboard box for shipping, and that's it.

Secondipity is the best! New items, low prices, great shipping!

I looove Secondipity and order from them regularly. Their items are legitimate, the "new" marked items are truly new and in perfect condition. Their prices are next to nearly unbeatable especially with their free shipping on so many of their products. Their shipping partner is UPS and they do a wonderful job of providing proof of delivery for all orders, they also ship very very fast. If the delivery driver ever has questions they make sure to give you a call to make sure your item is delivered appropriately.

I ordered a Simplehuman 4.5L trashcan.

I ordered a Simplehuman 4.5L trashcan and it arrived dented. It shipped right away and received it in a few days. When I received the trashcan, it was shipped in a plastic bag and it had no protection surrounding it to prevent it from getting damaged. Well, it arrived dented. I immediately called customer service and explained to them that my item arrived damaged. I requested a return shipping label and received it right away by email. I packaged the trashcan in a box and made sure that it was well protected from further damage. They received the item in ten days and they sat on it. They never updated my account or email me, notifying me that the item was received and when my replacement was going to ship out. I had to call customer service to enquire to what was the status of my replacement. The first thing that customer service asked me was "Did you call to let us know that the return shipped". I responded to the young lady No! I didn't know I had too. The shipping label had all the information to why the item was returned. Ha! Such inefficiency! She eventually to me that they were out of inventory for that item. When were they going to notify me with that information? Instead, they decided to do nothing and sit on it. If I didn't call to enquire about my replacement trashcan, most likely, nothing was ever going to be done from their end. I then requested a refund and decided to put this ordeal behind me. I will most likely not order from them again.

This place will rip you off

This place will rip you off. I bought a Ryobi string trimmer advertised as "like new." When it showed up it was thrown in a damaged box. The trimmer had scratches on it and the battery looked like it was submerged underwater with stains on it. Because of this, the battery wouldn't charge and is useless. Customer service said to mail it back and they'll send me a new one. The box was damaged so I had gotten rid of it. They will not accommodate me for my hassle of getting a new one and sending it back to them. If they had tested the item they would see it didn't work. Customer service was flippant and didn't care. They have my money. STAY AWAY! THEY SELL USED TRASH ADVERTISED AS "LIKE NEW."

Bought some shoes from them

Bought some shoes from them, the money has come outta my bank, sent them a copy of my bank statement and they claim they have no order. Well if I didn’t order anything how’s the money come outta my bank. I’m not finished with these ppl.

Avoid!

Purchased baby items as a first time buyer of website. Wish I would have done more research on the site and the common complaints. If you decide to do business with them please inspect the items as so as you get them! Nearly all were labeled as new and none of them aside from the diapers and open box warmer were as described. The two worst offenders being the “new” wipe warmer having a nearly full severed cord and the “new” baby video monitor which was filthy and barely working. They will extend no exception to the return window despite falsely labeling their products. Avoid if necessary or test everything out regardless of how far out you’ll actually need those items. Absolutely worthless customer service

Selling used trash as “new”

Ordered a kitchen appliance listed as new and not only did it arrive in an open, damaged box, but the product still had residue and a heavy odor from the previous owner. Tried calling customer service (required if you want to do any kind of return or exchange, by the way) and the replacement item they sent was exactly the same situation - a clearly used item that they went ahead and advertised as new.
AVOID THESE FRAUDSTERS!!!

Open Box Is Literal Trash From Fraudulent Returns

Don't trust their "open box" products. The shower head I ordered was clearly used for some time and fraudulently returned. The contents didn't even match the images on the box, nor did it fit in the packaging correctly. The plastic threads on the shower head adapter were destroyed, the head was covered in hard water stains and the shower head nut was chewed up.

On a positive note, the customer support is domestic and answered the phone quickly (+1 star). However, this does not excuse wasting my time troubleshooting, repackaging and shipping literal trash back to your warehouses. They have zero quality-control afaik.

Awful experience in shipping vinyl

Awful experience in shipping vinyl. They don't care that some people care about receiving vinyl in mint condition. For them, it's like as long as the vinyl inside does not get damaged. If you buy from them, you might receive dog-eared vinyl or corners that are dented, and the sides might just be crushed, with split seams. I returned so many orders that it is no longer funny. Like one of the reviews, my order was canceled because they raised prices by between 5-20 dollars. It was those that were still available on the site but they cancelled my order. I will not encourage people to buy from this site. It's not reliable and you're going to waste time returning their vinyl in their miserable plastic bags.

Didn't honour their (great) pricing on their website

I ordered some extremely competitively priced records. The first arrives in a plastic mailing bag instead of a cardboard record mailer. Of course there was a huge corner crease where it got bent but hey, at the lowest price around, I can live with that.

Then, the rest of records were refunded even tho they're still up on their website as available (at much higher prices).

Here's a marketing 101 clue, if you made a pricing mistake, live with it, eat your loss but garner great reviews and increase your customer base at the same time. You didn't so you get a big fat 1*
