Hello I just wanted to update Christa did contact me and very generously refunded me the cost of the pattern, there seemed to be a mix up with emails, I have changed my review to 5 stars.

It’s been three weeks since I emailed Christa and still she has not responded. I am very disappointed with my experience with The Secret Yarnery. Christa frequently mentions that this is an inclusive and safe space where 'you’ve found your people,' but my personal experience has been the opposite. Despite sending multiple emails, I have received zero response.
It is disheartening when a creator uses the language of inclusivity and community but fails to provide basic accessibility or acknowledgement to their members. A community can only be truly 'safe' and 'inclusive' if there is genuine two-way communication. Silence makes these values feel more like a marketing slogan than a reality.
It’s quite clearly all about money.

The video was so well done and almost self explanatory. I have been a knitter for over 60 years and have only ever made a couple of lap blankets with the simplest stitches and nothing with texture. The written instructions were very inclusive and easy to follow. Love this site. I will be a return customer for sure.

Crista gives great specific instructions and I can always see what she is doing. So far, there is only one place I have gotten stuck on and that is the turning of my work for the third layer of petals on the bouquet of zinnias. I can’t quite tell where she is going into in the back side. All in all I enjoy her tutorials wry much. She is always cheerful and loves what she does. Thank you

I sent emails three times because in the comments of the pattern you sent me it says there is an error in the directions in step 8. I asked you in email to reply to me and tell me the correct instructions before I start making it. I never got any replies.

I ordered 3 patterns. All 3 were clear and complete. I really felt they were good value for the money. I will be ordering again.

Love secret yarnery patterns are so easy to follow being a lefty the patterns are great nice big print absolutely love them thank you for thinking of us leftys

The ordering process was very easy and my downloads were available immediately. I also love her videos.

It was easy to find what I was looking for

I paid for pattern/directions based on your newsletter email. I downloaded said pattern with small glitch. Process of confirmation and downloading somewhat iffy but got it done. I don’t appreciate your continued and persistent emails and requests for review. I bought the pattern, have not made the basket, may not make basket for awhile. Keyword paid for a pattern is that not enough.

The easy to do patterns. I’ve been crocheting for 60 plus years. When I crochet it helps me relax so I want a project that is simple (mindless). Thank you

I was having problems downloading the pdf and Sonja worked with me till I got it. She was kind and supportive.

I’m not sure where you’re located, but I had a bit of trouble figuring out the pattern. I started out trying it, but found that “center” meant something different than I thought. I read and reread it and it finally figured it out. Now I can look forward to getting started on this pattern.

I love the pattern and video links. It promised a stitch number plan for size of blanket. I couldn't find that in the document.

The directions were delivered right after my payment was processed. They are clear and way to follow.

My great-great granddaughter will be here in a few months, and I wanted something different for her blanket. I love this sober granny stitch! It works up quickly and the instructions and video are spot on. I also love the name. ;-)
