They answer the phone! That is the most important thing for me as I am not good with technology and need to know I can phone and get help. I found it quite easy to set up and fund my account, which is not always the case.
Another reviewer says you cannot open an account on the phone app. If I had had to use an app I would not have opened an account as I have no idea how to use a smartphone except to get OTPs!!!

Very good service. Only problem was connection was poor meaning I had to ask agent to repeat / clarify at times. 1st time I had dealt with STB as normally use app / online site. No long queues as with some other organisations

So far I've received absolutely amazing customer service. The lady I spoke to was knowledgeable and was able to help me immediately regards moving an ISA over to their bank. I've been thoroughly impressed with all their communication so far in stark contrast to my current bank (Virgin-Nationwide) who I ma now considering leaving after 20 years with them
