I think this company is a scammer

I think this company is a scammer. They are the ones who took Passport, Income document, PPS, IRP, summary information, IRP, driver's license, all cards, 20 pages of 72 family information form from all of us to start our job and never got back to us. It didn't just happen to me, it happened to many of my friends. I think they are a very dangerous company, they took your information and used it. I will file a lawsuit soon.

They didn’t pay me the wages via direct…

They didn’t pay me the wages via direct deposit when it was due on the due date! I had to send multiple emails and make phone calls to get any reply. Later they said it was due to ‘human error’ what they did was completely illegal. We will see if I get my deposit this Thursday its way past the due date there is no excuse for what they did!

They have no idea what's going on

Got a call saying there was an emergency at my property when I was away. So I asked what is the emergency and what do I need to do. They have absolutely no idea. Then, I was transferred and tossed between different departments for over half an hour by now, and they still didn't know what was going on or who would know what was going on. I am still on the phone with them.

Avoid Securitas Technology at All Costs!

I’ve had nothing but frustration with Securitas Technology. I’m currently stuck in a 5-year contract, paying $75 a month for a service that barely functions. The cameras break down constantly, and every time they do, I have to pay $170 out of pocket just to get them looked at. Even though I’ve done nothing wrong and the issues are with their cameras, I’m still on the hook for the repair fees. It’s infuriating!

The problems don’t end there. By the 3rd or 4th of each month, the camera memory is already full, leaving me with no storage for the rest of the month. On top of that, the cameras send constant alerts even when there’s no movement—making them completely unreliable.

I feel like I’m throwing money away on a service that doesn’t work. If you’re considering Securitas, take my advice and stay as far away as possible! Don’t get locked into a contract with a fraudulent company with zero support and endless made up fees unless you want to pay for nothing!

HORRIBLE SERVICE

HORRIBLE SERVICE
After my 5 year contract was complete I'm being sent a cancellation charge. After I paid for 6 months during Covid for no service after we moved and they couldn’t send anyone out to install the equipment. After sending bank statements in and Talked to at least 5 customer service reps after being on hold for hours ,who stated it’s taken care of, I’m still trying to get it done. I was on hold this morning for 15 minutes and hung up on.
This company has 0 customer service once payment is received.

Dissatisfied

I’ve waited 3+ months for a tech to connect my doorbell camera to my new router
He came today and spent a lengthy time on hold back to the tech dept of his company.
My camera only works when the doorbell is pushed. There are no live recordings.
I’ve been on hold then transferred and calls dropped for 1.5 hours. I’m fed up.
Today, I talked directly to the tech and I honestly think he will try to resolve my issues. (24 hours after my tech visited)
I am pleased to inform the readers that the techs today were helpful and caring.

The worst company out there

The worst company out there. It took me 3 months just to cancel my services as it is near impossible to get a hold of anyone and apparently you have to speak to their “loyalty” department to be able to cancel. Long holds then phone disconnects, no response to emails or calls, they say your request has been opened and someone will reach out to you and no one does and just terrible terrible customer service. I wouldn’t trust them to protect anything. Absolutely useless.

Last year we moved and tried to get…

Last year we moved and tried to get things switched to new home. It took 2 weeks to speak to a live person! Now I want to cancel services since contract is up. I've been waiting 6+ weeks for a phone call. Email was sent, and several phone calls. I got someone on the line, only they didn't know it. Her name was Jessica. She was speaking to someone named Jeff. Go figure. This company doesn't deserve to be in business!

Terrible customer service. Not worth the premium.

I have been with a security company that was recently bought by Securitas for years and I rarely had any problem. They recently changed the hardware and now there are false alarms all the time. On two occasions, I spoke to a customer service agent who were nice but they are stuck with the conncected departments which seem to be completely inefficient. Book keeping and collections don't respond to their requests ("they don't respond, we can only transfer you to their voice mail box...") and the technicians can't do anything unless the other departments sort out a problem that they created themselves. So I'm basically stuck with false alarms because collections doesn't call me back. Not to be recommended. I'm looking for alternatives in Montreal.

Had there been a zero rating

Had there been a zero rating, I would have used it. Terrible customer service. Average wait time is 35 minutes to speak to someone! Managed to do so and someone was supposed to call back to schedule a technician visit…didn’t happen. Back to waiting endlessly to re-engage with someone. Previously with Stanley…bough out by Securitas Canada.
Stay away from those guys!

If there would be a 0 star rating, I would have selected it. Securitas is the most useless security company in the world. Even their technician told me that the products they offer is one of the worst on the market today. I had a system from them for 2 years and had tons of false alarms. One I had a real alarm but they didn't know anything about it!!! It's virtually impossible to reach them..., if you get lucky and they do answer, make sure to resolve all your issues at once as you will likely not be able to reach them. The best to get their attention is to stop any payments.

I strongly recommend to anyone looking into getting an alarm system to shop around (don't use Securitas)

Do Not Apply

Do not work here at the Colorado Springs office. You will get a very notorious, and very worthless district manager (K.F.) that only cares about meeting "the numbers", for the corporate offices. Your site supervisor, and fellow employees, will arrive to work smelling like a marijuana farm. You will NEVER get a raise the entire time you are here, on any job site, because of the typical corporate security lie "It's the Client, not Securitas". You will also receive at least one new team member each week - the turnover rate is that high. You may even train that new teammate, at your standard hourly wage rate, while not being the site trainer. Expect it. You will get paid once a week, and your pay might even be correct - always double check your payroll here. Don't even bother filling out an application, move onward to better.

Disorganized or dishonest?

Poor service - did not call us as expected a couple of times our alarm went off, so clearly no one monitoring. We have calked and written a number of times to cancel the service and they keep sending us collection letters. Extremely disorganized at best, but more likely dishonest. They should not be in business.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless.
Was advised to give 90 days notice in writing to cancel my domestic alarm contract as I am moving house. No response to my letter dated February 6th. Have spent most of today trying to speak to someone who knows what is going on and can sort this-passed from one to another, given the wrong e-mail addresses, phone numbers not answered and consistently referred to the technical department not security despite my protests.
I sympathise with the staff I did speak to but this level of customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and deserves 0 stars.
Disgraceful.

They treat people wrong!

Securias has you to sign paper work that you cannot sue them if they let you go for any reason in Richardson Texas i worked there for 15 years they let me go due to me not able to perform my duties as i use to due to chronic migrain headaches and meds i was taking causing me health issues....theynare only for themselves....American Protective Services for security was a GREAT company to work for they were for their clients and their employees best security company... SECURITAS IS TERRIBLE! the people i work with at Securities was very nice people and a few nice Supervisors...was the date they let me go was year 2010 below were im suppose to put the date would not allow me to go back to the date they let me go

I work here in UK.securitas values of…

I work here in UK.securitas values of integrity vigilants and helpfulness is all lies. And they don't following the code of conduct or their own set policies. I make a complain of serious data's breaches in the office in London. I takin my complains to senior hr in full details explain that manager leave staff private confidential information in the table for all to see, this is unacceptable conduct in the office. The hr no do investigation but tell my manager of this who after start to bullies me and make me feel am nothing and like not give me work and told me am finish for making the complain on a manager. So I was just being treatment unfairly and they are bully me. I then complains to senior hr Sarah and senior head of companies Shaun Kennedy. They do nothing. I explain them hr and managers doing corrupt policies and fraud and not doing in line with companies policies and they cover up all.make me feel emotional and mentally torture and manipulation amd for them treat me like this am become homeless.

Never ever work with this company

Never ever work with this company. They are not honest and have their "fake"rules, I have been trying to break our contract for one year now, and they won't let us go, oblige us to pay some upfront money for no reason.

Do not go near this company

Do not go near this company . I trusted the people I met to safeguard my large property . They had acquired supreme security which had failed , and the new management promised a new approach since that time , the mismanagement of this company and its resources is almost mind boggling …. bad installations leading to terrible experiences with repair folks who seem to pay cursory attention to testing equipment before they leave the premises . Poor to non existent customer communications . Broken promises etc etc etc . It’s like a business school case study of all the things you can do badly
