Very difficult to contact for invoice queries

We were transferred to Securitas Technology from Christie Intruder Alarms, who had given excellent service for many years.

Securitas Technology's first invoice for the annual contract never arrived, and I received a letter warning that they may initiate their debt collection process. I needed to contact them for payment reference information, but they ignored my first email and their phone system cuts off after 15 minutes. I made 7 attempts to call them, being cut off on each occasion. Their online chatbot was only able to give me the phone number of their accounts department, which cuts off in the same way as their main phone number.

I emailed them again 18 days later, to which they did respond with a copy of the original invoice, saying that had the required customer reference number. That had four different reference numbers, with no indication of which was required, and with a different bank account from that in their letter.

This is a huge contrast with the level of service we had from Christie: they answered phones and their paperwork was crystal clear. Securitas Technology would do well to follow their example.
