At Seeds Ireland we are passionate about providing high quality organic and open-pollinated seed to all of our customers. If you are unfamliar with the term, open-polinated seed is seed that has not been genetically modified by humans.
We offer a wide range of organic seed to the Irish market. Our seed is tested for germination each year, to make sure the seeds grow when our customers plant them. Below you will find the different types of seed we offer.

We pride ourselves on dispacthing orders quickly and efficiently, with delivery normally completed by our delivery partners in Ireland within 1 to 3 days after ordering.
We strongly believe that the customer is king, we would not have a business without you! With that being said we try our best to make sure our customers are always happy, by providing responsive and efficient customer service when it is needed.
Our seed packs are very good quality, with detailed instructions specific to each variety provided on them. All of our small seed packs are fully recyclable.
The vast majority of the seeds we provide are organic and open-pollinated varieties. We do not provide any GMO products. The majority of our packaging is fully recyclable. We use our national postal service An Post as our default delivery partner.
The business is run by Brian and Stacey Faulkner. We have a love of gardening and growing our own food. We are also passinate about taking care of our envirnoment. We set the business up in 2020 when it was very difficult for gardening and vegetable growing enthusiasts to buy organic seed as a result of Brexit.
We want to make sure organic and open-pollinated seed is always available to Irish people who want to use it, and we want to encourage Irish people to use this type of seed. We hope that in the end, this business will have a positive impact on our environment, however big or small. shop now

However, when it comes to gift items like our Christmas gift packs, we prioritise insuring they arrive in perfect condition, especially as presentation is so important for gifts.
A padded envelope, while more compact, unfortunately doesn’t offer the protection needed to prevent damage during transit. We will, however, continue to explore more eco-friendly options that balance sustainability with keeping your orders intact.

Great seeds suited to Irish climate
I love that their seeds are carefully selected for the Irish climate and soil. The regular ‘what to plant in [month]’ is a godsend for inexperienced gardeners like me - I even added the web pages for each seed into an AI model and got it to do the hard work of making a 12 month planting calendar for my three beds. The order was delivered quickly, though it got soaked on the doorstep thanks to Storm Darragh! Brian very kindly, despite my reluctance, sent me a full seed replacement “just in case”! I’m a very grateful and happy customer and very happy to recommend Seeds Ireland to anyone!
