Great experience. I sent photos of the shirts I wanted to sell. They confirmed the ones they wanted and price. Sent them free via Royal Mail pick up from home and the money is now in my account. Very easy process and good communication.

Very easy selling platform, swift payment

Selling my collection of 37 vintage football shirts to Vintage Football Shirts proved to be a very straightforward experience overall. Once you accept the reality that any purchase offer from a reseller is unlikely to come close to the combined retail value of the shirts, the process itself is impressively slick.

Using the company’s new online purchase portal, each shirt was uploaded individually for assessment by the Vintage Football Shirts team. After evaluation, offers were made directly through the portal, allowing me to either accept or decline each one. Once I had confirmed which offers I wished to accept, the system prompted me to enter my bank details and generate a pre-paid postage label.

From there, the process was simple: pack the shirts, attach the label, and indicate within the portal that the items had been dispatched.

The only slightly worrying aspect of the experience was the postal delivery. I sent two boxes, and while the first arrived as expected, the second appeared to take a completely different route and was delivered nearly a week later. Although this ultimately caused no problems, it did create some anxiety while waiting for confirmation of delivery. A small FAQ section within the portal explaining that such delivery variations can occur might help reassure sellers in similar situations.

Once all the shirts had been received, the agreed payment was deposited in my bank account quickly and without issue. Apart from the temporary concern caused by the wayward delivery, the entire process was transparent, efficient, and easy to follow. I would certainly recommend Vintage Football Shirts to anyone looking for a straightforward way to sell their vintage football shirts.
