Had a failed MOT that just wasn’t worth fixing due the cost vs value. Scouted around a few different sites and came across’Sell The Car. I mulled on the quote for a couple of days, without cold calling or harassment from the company. When I decided to go ahead, It was one quick phone call with Lyndon, who stuck to the online valuation and arranged collection a couple days later at my convenience. On the day of collection there was no issues at all, no haggling on prices and money in my bank within 2 hours. The price I got for the car was the best I found.

Communication was excellent. Everything was clear, a fair price was offered, and the process explained well. The price offered was straightforward with no hidden charges or sudden reductions and was paid promptly after the car was collected.

Given that I delayed things for a week or so I was very appreciative that there was no hard sell or hassling emails.

The collection process was simply. We received an message giving the date and a time window, and then on the day we received an SMS with an ETA which was accurate.

The driver was pleasant, efficient and very clearly competent.

I genuinely cannot think how they could have improved the experience. Well, given me double the money I suppose, but their actual offer was a fair price.
