1 Star – Very Disappointing Experience

I ordered a suit from Sene and was immediately put off by their so-called “custom fit” process. Instead of actual measurements by a tailor, they make you fill out a questionnaire and call it custom. Let’s be honest—there’s nothing truly custom about it. It feels like a cheap gimmick to lock you into the purchase.

Once I received the suit, the quality was extremely disappointing. The fabric feels rough, looks nothing like the polished photos online, and honestly, you could get a better suit off the rack at Macy’s or any department store for less. It looks cheap, and the fit wasn’t right even after their attempts to tweak it.

What bothered me even more was their misleading “FREE RETURNS, REMAKES, OR EXCHANGES” option for $4.98 at checkout. I paid for it, returned the suit, and instead of a refund, they only gave me store credit. I tried other shirts and items, but nothing fit properly.

Their products are overpriced for the quality you get. In my opinion—save your money and shop elsewhere. Stay away from this company.

I just got the Sene Studio pullover and…

I just got the Sene Studio pullover and it is hands down one of the most comfortable pieces I’ve ever worn. The fit is perfect, the fabric feels high quality, and the attention to detail is obvious from the moment you put it on. It has the right balance of style and comfort, so I can wear it lounging at home or out and about. You can tell the brand really cares about design and craftsmanship. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Sene - Simply the best clothing company

It's rare that I take the time to write a 5 start review. However, I can honestly say that being a customer for Sene, has made me a believer of their TRUE customer experience model. I purchased some T-shirts from them and opted for paying for their insured program for changes/returns/etc. I had asked for a customized T-shirt and when I first received it, it was not quite yet the way I wanted it. I communicated with them promptly (within the same day/days), and immediately addressed my concerns and took steps to create a new T-shirt with their professional guidance/suggestions, and sent the new T-shirt back to me for another try. I got the new / revised T-shirt today and what a perfect fit. Outstanding material, comfort, design, & the right fit. They are now sending me the other 3 T-shirts that were part of my original order. They are true professionals that understand the meaning and significance of customer service/customer experience. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for great products, at good value and outstanding customer service. THANK YOU TEAM SENE.

Excellent experience with first order

I just received my first order from Sene. I ordered 3 custom fit t-shirts. The quality of the product is excellent, truly a premium product. The custom fit was perfect. They sent one shirt for me to try to be sure the fit was correct, which it was. I emailed them to confirm the fit and they quickly processed completing the other 2 shirts. The customer service and communication was top notch. It is very good value for a high quality custom product. I will be ordering again.

By far the worst experience I've had…

By far the worst experience I've had with a "made-to-order" suit company. Even after sending them the exact measurements I needed, they simply couldn't get it right... three times! I finally decided not to even bother anymore. They even had the nerve to say "Sorry you're past the 30 day window, we can't do anymore alterations...." ok cool, after the third time you messed it up? Material is cheap, construction is worse. Don't even bother, save your money and frustration. Steer way clear.

The fabric of the tees is soft and…

The fabric of the tees is soft and substantial. The ordering process was simple. And, when a few adjustments were required on the first shirt (btw, I like how they make one, get the fit right, then make others), the communications back and forth were clear and the openness to making changes was refreshing, I’ve now my three tees, all perfectly-fitting. If I have one minor critique, the manufacturing and shipping of the first tee shirt took a long time. However, once final sizing was complete, I received the shirts very quickly.

As advertised

As advertised. They took my measurements (I do find it hard to find off the shelf sizes to fit). Mailed me a single shirt to ensure fit (it was perfect). Then mailed me the other 2 shirts. Not cheap. But worth it for me.

High expectations -- exceeded

Well, it was expensive. And it seemed I had to wait forever to arrive. But when the first Sene t shirt showed up - and fit me better than any t I had ever had - was hooked. And Im still hooked. Ts. Polos. Anything they make.

Don’t waste your time and money


I had high expectations for this suit, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The fit was poor, and the customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. As a busy professional, I value both my time and my money, and this purchase has cost me both. A company that truly stands by its product wouldn’t leave a customer stuck with an item they cannot use. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had in years.

Fantastic service and quality.
I had ordered for my suit(s) in early August for a big event coming up in mid-September. I knew this was cutting it close with the arrival time, so I reached out to them and within a day they got back to me and got me the first suit not only on time, but it fit so well that no alterations were needed, and I felt (and looked) like a million bucks! This is a modern suit that works for me and the era we are living in. Thanks guys!!!

Absolute Worst. Tricky Return Policy. Poor Empathy, Reading Comprehension, and Response Times

2025 Nov 19 Update, 2-stars: I got my 5th suit, and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, it arrived too late for the wedding I bought it for, and it doesn't negate the poor experience I had along the way. But still, in the end, I got what I wanted in a perfect fit. Updated to 2-stars.

2025 Sep 15 Original Review, 1-star: Began order 4 months ago, May 16, for a wedding in October. 1st suit was very sloppy fit, and the lapel of the double breasted blazer was very curved instead of straight like in their photos. I wanted a return for refund because of the lapel. They pointed to their return policy only allowing remakes for custom items. However, they also said they could not change the lapel, nor guaranteee that any adjustments would improve the look of the lapel. This did not give me much confidence. They were also stupidly positive in their tone, and it took a couple emails to finally force out a statement of empathy.

The 2nd suit was better, the 3rd suit even better, but still not quite wedding-ready. On Sep 4, I sent them a recap of the changes that we agreed on for the 3rd suit, then shared my photos and comments on the 4th suit, asking for their recommendations. They replied that they were going to make the 4th suit. I was confused because I was expecting recommendations from their "Fit Specialist."

I asked if their fit specialist reviewed my photos and comments? They said "We did include your feedback when we processed your remake, here are the changes we applied to your remade Suit:" and listed my rehash. I replied, "No, please read my email again. I began by rehashing the changes for the 2nd set that were applied to this 3rd set, and then I provided comments on this 3rd set at the bottom of the email, and then one more comment on this 3rd set in the next email." They took another 5 days to reply to me: "Thanks for getting back to us. We included your feedback in the latest remade Suit.
No worries, if you still have fit issues with the remade Suit, feel free to reach out to us and provide us with the photo." They take days and days to get back.

On Sep 12, I said, "I did provide photos and comments on Thu Sep 4. I did NOT provide any remake instructions, and you did NOT provide any remake instructions. On Fri Sep 4 you said, "Awesome! I will process a remake of your Suit!" but how exactly are you remaking the suit without any remake instructions? You also took 5 days to reply to me, and I told you on Sep 4 that "I'll need to receive my final set by Friday Oct 17." You've wasted over a week of critical time by not reading and not responding.

Please review my photos and comments from Thu Sep 4 and reply with remake suggestions for the 4th suit."

And they replied with the same misunderstanding, "I attached here the return label you can use to return the original Suit, here are the fit adjustments we applied for your Suit, we included your feedback as well:"

At this point we are just repeating ourselves because nobody on their side is actually taking more than a cursory glance before copy+pasting a template reply to me.
