Never use the E-town branch

Servpro was recommended by a dear friend of ours. We regret ever trying to use them. We called and had someone come out to look at some mold in our basement. Ben came out and comfirmed it was black mold. He told us he would need to check with someone from water proofing department and would give us a call by Monday. This was on a Thursday. It has been a week and a half and we haven't heard a thing. Even if they do call us, we will not be using them

Bad service

Harassing customers with daily emails, texts and phone calls about payment even when you ask them to detail the invoice and you have to clarify with the insurance.
This happened short time after the service.
Bad company. Do not use them !

My kitchen floor and basement got…

My kitchen floor and basement got flooded in March 2023. It's been over 8 months and my kitchen floors still hasn't gotten installed and other things that still need to get done. It's ridiculous that this job isn't complete yet! Living in a house for months with no floors and with kids is very inconvenient If I would have known this was gonna take this long I would have gone through another company. Never again will I use this company and won't recommend it to anyone. Now I'm stuck with this company since I made payments. Can't wait to get this done and never deal with Servpro ever again. If I have to wait any longer to get floors installed my next step is getting a lawyer. Worst company ever and wish I never used them.

Servpro is very unprofessional and…

Servpro is very unprofessional and they hire people that are not licensed,bonded,insured without home improvement license they send their people to do jobs that they are not able to do they have been to my home without calling you and did double work causing us problems they do not check on the job being none properly by their unskill labors people,they people are very disrespectful to the customer and they like to rule your property this is not acceptable with me i am going to small claims court to continue this nonsense

Used Servpro out of Buffalo Grove/Lake…

Used Servpro out of Buffalo Grove/Lake Zurich, they never call people back. They showed up at 7 pm without calling and told me it would take till midnight to clean up their equipment after the work was completed the day before. the manager/owner was verbally abusive and was threatening in nature. I would never use their service or recommend them to anyone.

In February of 2023 we had a water…

In February of 2023 we had a water break in the house. This was the most unprofessional most terrible company that we could have called. They broke our garage door! They stole from us! They boxed up and put wet things in bags and boxes they just ruined everything. They charged me for 5 months of storage when in reality I only needed 3 weeks. One of the employees brought other people that were not a part of Servpro into the house. Unprofessional! They threw away cabinets that I wanted to keep. I have called and called and called them left a messages and they do not respond. We asked to talk to corporate and they were supposed to give us a call back. No call! Our garage door is still broken I'm waiting for them to fix it. How dare them send bills to people when they have destroyed and ruined their things. They probably have done about 7 to 8,000 worth of damage. No professionalism here no respect for the customer. I do not recommend this company at all. There is nothing that I could go lower than a one but I would do -00. Look for a company that respects your things has high ratings and will call you back when you need a respond back. Even if you have to pay more:-) these people are just going to take your money your stuff and leave your stuff broken and leave your stuff broken

Put the phone down

Put the phone down. Don't do it! You will hate life. They blew up my electrical panel and will not take any responsibility. I could sue. I have pictures and all communications needed but they have exhausted me. It started April 10th and I fought until September 2nd. They are franchised. There is no SERVPRO!!!! DO NOT CONTACT THEM! PUT THE PHONE DOWN OR A NOOSE UP.

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

On Friday, August 11, 2023, my husband, Pat, and I were in California, Maryland picking up a couch on a second floor condo. The couch was wedged - not budging! A representative from Servpro, Ricky Kline, stepped in to land a huge hand plus his perspective on how to angle the couch to get it out the door! Next, Ricky Kline helped my husband to carry it out of the condo - second floor - and load it into our truck - all the while with a smile, kind words, and encouragement! Ricky Kline was a wonderful representative for SERVPRO yesterday! If all of your employees are as he was, well, then, you have a top-notch company! Way above and beyond the call of duty!

Don’t Waste Your Time and Money with this company

This is a review for SERVPRO of Elk Grove/Palatine/St. Charles//SW Barrington Hills.

This review is for work performed at my residence 7/17/23 - 7/31/23. The following is a list of the poor quality, and unprofessionalism performed by the subcontractors used by ServPro:
1. Poor quality painting my movie room walls and baseboards.
2. One of the painters used by the subcontractors was what I perceived to be a member of an extremist organization. He drove a pickup truck with a giant sized flag attached to the truck bed.
3. The subcontractors left dust and paint splatter on my recently installed new hard wood floors.
4. The tile installers dropped heavy bags of broken tiles on my walkway leaving scratches and damage.
5. The subcontractors used (without my permission) my bath towels and face towels to clean their paint brushes.
6. The subcontractors attempted to hide drywall damage they were paid to repair, by painting over it.
7. The subcontractors did not properly reconnect the electrical outlets in my movie room, which could have potentially led to a fire hazard.

The Folsom, PA location is wonderful

Servpro of Media in Folsom has been doing smoke remediation at a family home and they are amazing. The walls, ceilings, and floors were really damaged and after Servpro cleaning they look new.
They were timely with the estimate and the start date for the work. Staff is professional
I'm very surprised to see poor reviews of this company here, but I think they are a franchise which could explain it. If you live in Delaware County, PA, I would definitely try Servpro of Media in Folsom.

Servpro West Pasco - Largo

Servpro West Pasco (from bill). I used this company December 2022 & live in Largo, FL. I paid them $500 over the phone and was told due to the size of job that would cover it. I may get a refund as well because it was about a two hour job & may not even be that much. After tipping the technician that cleaned the house and her verbalizing that nothing else is due, now months later I get a 'surprise' invoice along with email threats to pay an additional $1200+ dollars. Not only that, they're adding interest. I know NOTHING about this additional charge, I was told it was paid in full (and even tipped the technician), then this company started sending harassing emails MONTHS LATER from the company about owing more money that I know NOTHING about AFTER the technician on site said I was paid in full. I asked the company for my signature on the document that acknowledges that I understood that there was another 1200+ dollars due and they never provided it.

After threatening emails from the company to legally come after me, they then now have a third-party collection company threatening to further do damage to my personal credit. The problem is, is that this company thinks that coming to my house and doing a job leaving with the understanding that it is 'paid in full' (and even tipping the technician) - this company believes a work order is an open checkbook from wherever they show up to after collecting money upfront for the job & confirming post job that it's paid in full.

They try to intimidate through emails and through collection agencies MONTHS LATER, with the whole bases being a complete scam. They will NOT provide any documentation of your signature on any work orders. And they add interest to an 'invisible' secondary invoice made up months later, after a job is completed & they've acknowledged it paid in full. Servpro is now harassing me. They are threatening to use my personal information somehow on my credit bureau, which is ludicrous, which is a security/privacy violation on top of. They are scam artists and I would NEVER recommend this company.

No one's job is an open checkbook that you come and try to collect months later after telling the client that they have 'paid in full' and then going back and threatening the client to take 'legal actions' when you know you're being a scam artist. I definitely DO NOT recommend this company to anyone. Learn from the advantage they're attempting to take from me. I'm not going to allow this.

They did a good job when I got them to…

They did a good job when I got them to show up. The problem in my experience is that they use every excuse in the book to justify why they didn't call or show up. They claim 24 hour service. Not in my experience. I contacted them on a Friday. The guy told me he would be there in 3 hours, 4 hours later I called back and a second guy took my call and said he left I can come out tomorrow. The second guy showed up and said I need at least half if not all now or I can not start the process. Ok I wrote a check he said 24 to 48 hours. 48 hours later nothing. I called back he acted surprised and said no one showed up. I said no. He got a hold of a crew to come that afternoon. They showed up took the carpet and padding upput the fans and dehumidifiers all in a couple hours. They came by every day to check the moisture content after 4 days they packed everything up and I was told the construction part would get a hold of me. 3 days later I called back and asked what was going. The guy said that's not my department but I'll send another message and told me to call the main number so I did. Nothing then I called again a day later and said atleast tell me that you guys don't want to finish my job. Another guy calls back and the same story we did not get it another guy received it but quit 2 days ago. Not reliable unless you're a rich person or a big business.

I previously left a great review but…

I previously left a great review but did not realize Servpro did Not value their customers schedule. They would not work with me on my schedule and wanted to come to our home early in the morning when I am asleep! I work nights for the time being and go to school. They took way too long with my insurance claim and even charged me for an Asbestos test? My home was built in 2001! There is absolutely zero Asbestos in our home.
I had an entire vacation week off from work but they never once offered to do the work then. I asked Anthony Dimeo the operations manager if he would work with their customers schedules and he said No.
Wow! way to go Dimeo! No care at all for your paying customers!
Good luck with that!

ServPro Ineptness

ServPro was hired to repair water damage when sprinkler water supply broken and water flowed in the house. The area needed drywall and cabinets removed and dried. After drying, the drywall needed to be replaced and everything put back together: new carpet, cabinet rebuilt, etc.

This job was a job that should have taken 8 days and right now, because of Servpro’s ineptness I am on the 10th week with the job still incomplete. For 10 weeks our life has been severely disrupted. The only one to blame is ServPro. So, if you want to have a job that takes one week but will take ServPro 11 weeks then definitely use ServPro. They should change their name to ServDisorganized or ServHotMess.

Servpro absolute professional

Servpro came to my house after a kitchen fire. They were fast professional the entire time. The only delay was waiting for the insurance company to sign off on repair. We're in central Oregon , LaPine and Alex and shea were hands on managers that educated us in required repair and processes. They finished today and we're outstanding all the way. I cannot thank them enough for treating us so well.
