Bad customer service

Customer service and tech support is not there. They do not have the ability to call you. I spent hours emailing back & forth about an issue that should have taken 5 mins to resolve.

The best decision I’ve made for my practice – hands down!

I recently made the switch from SimplePractice to Sessions Health, and I couldn’t be happier. I left SimplePractice primarily because I was uncomfortable with some of their ethics, and I’m so glad I did. From day one, Sessions Health has felt like a breath of fresh air—transparent, practitioner-focused, and truly aligned with the values I want in the tools I use every day.
The transition was incredibly smooth, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Trish on the team. She was exceptional—patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went perfectly. She answered every question promptly and made what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. Sessions Health’s support team as a whole is outstanding, but Trish truly went above and beyond.
Now that I’m fully set up, there is literally nothing I don’t love about Sessions Health compared to SimplePractice. The platform is intuitive, the mobile app actually works better (and more reliably) than SimplePractice’s, and I finally feel like I can sleep well at night knowing I’m using an ethical, high-quality system that puts therapists and clients first.
If you’re a mental health practitioner looking for a better alternative, do yourself a favor and switch to Sessions Health. You won’t regret it—I certainly don’t!

Customer service is second to none

I have tried several different electronic records over the years and Session Health has, by far, been the best. It's really customizable, has an intuitive design and user experience, and their customer service is amazing. I can't recommend them enough.

5 Stars!!

We started using Sessions Health in February 2024, and the transition to the platform—including the migration of client data from our previous EHR—was smooth and completely hassle-free. The customer support throughout the onboarding process, and ever since, has been consistently top-notch. Support reps are always friendly, professional, and extremely quick to respond.

The platform itself is very user-friendly and has truly transformed the way our therapy practice operates. We’ve also seen an increase in revenue thanks to their Client Portal, which makes it so easy for our clients clients to view and pay their statements.

Overall, Sessions Health has an excellent product and customer support. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any clinician looking for a reliable and easy-to-use EHR!

In this case, the decision wasn’t made lightly or without review. After a deeper look at how the account was configured and used, we determined that it did not align with our usage and access terms, including how practitioner access and documentation are intended to function within the platform. When that happens, we may choose to discontinue service rather than support a setup that falls outside those parameters.

In your case, we provided advance notice, continued access for a transition period, and full data export options so you could move forward with minimal disruption. While we know that doesn’t remove the frustration of the situation, we did our best to handle it thoughtfully and responsibly.

We genuinely wish you success in finding a platform that’s a strong fit for your practice and appreciate the time you spent with Sessions Health.

I love Sessions Health

So far I’ve been using Sessions Health since February and I’ve loved it since. The support staff is quick, friendly, and extremely helpful when I email them. I’ve never had a negative experience with contacting support. The telehealth video is also great! The moment there was a black screen issue, they fixed it within the week.

I also use a certain competitor’s platform for my other job, but Sessions Health is by far the best and user friendly platform I’ve used. The cost is fair, along with the cost-effective add-on for additional therapists. As a solo practitioner, I’m glad I took the leap with this platform because I don’t plan on ever leaving.

As a new member for six months

As a new member for six months, I have enjoyed my switch to Sessions. Customer service is absolutely awesome when it comes to assisting with technical issue. My only negative has been with the assistance for insurance. The response I received gave me the indication the individual did not fully read my request. To this day I have to manually resubmit my AETNA claims because they get rejected. However I receive payment when I submit through Availity. The same is true for my CIGNA client. For a small company you perform excellent.

Why I like Sessions Health

The main reason I love Sessions Health is the support team. If I have an issue or question that I can't figure out, I contact the support team and get a quick response, and, more importantly, the answer to my query. The team is excellent!! I also like the actual EHR and the price point is reasonable.

Best Customer Service

I'm a biller and work with several different EHRs for mental health providers. Sessions Health by far has the most responsive customer service! The user interface is intuitive and they continue to roll out new features. Their response to the Change Healthcare outage was also the best- they had excellent, detailed communication, and they made big pivots in order to do best by their customers. I strongly recommend!

Intuitive and responsive support team

I've been using Sessions for about 4 weeks on their free trial as I start a practice. Having had other experiences with EHR, I found SH to be really intuitive, easy to navigate, and functioning well at a reasonable rate for small practices. I've especially appreciated the quick responses from their Support team on any questions and issues that I have had.
