So far it has been amazing!
It’s easy to navigate, to set up.
Some areas could be easier and have more options (calendar, reminders…).
But overall I am pretty content.

Super responsive customer service. Simple to use interface.

Recently signed up with Sessions Health. Overall I am satisfied. Some things I would like to see added include having the option to list clients in alphabetical order by last name (not first name as it is now). Also, the ability to send one email/message to all clients (in case I want to notify of changes that will affect each one of them). I asked about both and apparently such features are not available at this time. I hope that will soon change. Response from Sessions Health was quick, so that's a plus!

I just switched to Sessions from a competitor and have loved the great customer service (including assistance importing what was possible to import directly and help with newbie questions) as well as the great features the software provides. I was quite pleased to see 95% of my ideal features were already part of the platform (and at such a reasonable price point) and found some new features that I didn't know I was missing! I also appreciate Session's statement regarding their use of therapist ethical principals in guiding their business decisions - with the broad trend toward mental health becoming "big business" it's great to know there's a full-featured EHR committed to serving their customers in an ethical way, so that we therapists can just focus on serving our clients.

Super responsive communication and easy of use of the system!

Very responsive and detailed communication.

It’s just easy. Intuitive. In my time with Sessions, they’ve worked out a lot of the early kinks just as promised, so the platform only becomes more resourced and user friendly with time. The price is also great, and I really appreciate the extremely quick and informative responses from Sessions support team whenever I have questions or challenges.

I'm a therapist in private practice and work with a lot of queer folx, sliding scale pay, and variable schedules. I used to use a different EHR, and looking into around a dozen or more other platforms before a colleague told me about SessionsHealth, and this is by far the best for what I wanted. I switched to SessionsHealth in August 2022.

Pros:
* SUPER responsive support. They're really fast and friendly whenever I've reached out about a product idea or question, and have implemented many of the changes I've asked for
* they imported my client data for me!
* online scheduling is great
* handles sliding scales amazing (I can designate a rate specific to a client per service, so I don't have to remember what their rate is or change it each time.)
* really intuitive layout. (I rarely get lost in the backend trying to remember how to edit an intake form, etc, unlike my last EHR)
* LGBTQ+ friendly - requesting client's legal sex designation is optional (I have it turned off since I don't take insurance, and I see a lot of non-binary folx), there's the ability to set up throuples etc
* affordable pricing
* tasks feature - I can set reminders for myself (for example, review a client's sliding scale, wish a client happy birthday, send a client a psych recommendation) give these due dates and mark them complete when I've done them.
* Intake documents - really easy to set up and customize
*Customizable appointment reminders
* Incomplete notes reminder on the Home Screen
* unpaid bills reminder on the Home Screen
* The layout is simple, efficient and not overwhelming.

Cons:
* currently not a built-in way to sign up for groups (such as signing up for a drop-in group...currently I do that separately)
* currently you can't export a csv file of client contact info (most EHRs I looked into couldn't do this either)

I had been with my previous EHR for several years, however they recently raised prices significantly and have not been responsive to questions. Sessions Health is very affordable and offered all of the features I used in my previous EHR. I love that they allow you to develop your own format for every document including session notes. In addition they have a feature that allows a treatment plan update to be part of the note by pulling in your treatment plan with a space to comment on progress. This is essential to me since I take insurance. The interface is intuitive and well organized. They made transferring all of my records and signed consents so simple and it is all easily visible in the file. I can't say enough about how responsive and helpful the customer service team is!

I switched to Sessions Health from the number one rated EHR and I don’t have one regret. SH’s cost, ease of use, the beauty of the platform, the ability to create ANY type of form as well as the many templates and assessments already included catapults Sessions above the rest (and I’ve tried them all).

I think I forgot to mention their support. I sent a message about an issue (creating a form) at 5am on New Year’s Day 2023 and got a response from Ian less than an hour later. Same week, I was creating another form and got stuck, sent an email and got a response at 10pm (less than an hour). One more, I had issues managing access to a client’s record; a team approach was implemented to solve my problem and it was resolved within a couple of hours.

I know this is a long review, but Sessions Health is worth it. I began my trial in Sept. 2022 and made the full transition in Oct. 2022. I am so happy I took a chance; this is one of my best decisions as a therapist.

I am so thankful for Sessions Health and the service they provide. I am a small private practice and getting the tools I need at a reasonable price is important. The staff is amazing. Quick responses. I look forward to the additional services they will provide. Thank you, Sessions Health Team!

Sessions support is always extremely prompt and solves my issues immediately!

It is an excellent bang for your buck. Simple, streamlined. My other software actually did TOO much and I found it overwhelming. Sessions has just what I need. And their tech support is incredible: quick to reply, thorough and helpful. Most won’t have tech issues at all, most likely but I’m a bit tech challenged so… :))

Ian and Dan worked to help resolve a billing issue that wasn't straightforward. They were both patient, attentive and kind and very quick to find resolve.

I absolutely LOVE Sessions Health as a Private Practice Therapist. Amazingly easy to use for BOTH client and clinician, even for the technology challenged. Price is very affordable and customer support is very responsive and helpful!

I am new to Sessions Health, and as I'm learning to navigate the system (very intuitive), I've had some nuanced questions that aren't covered in the broader tutorials. When I've messaged the SH team, they are so responsive, fast, personable, and include visuals in the emails so I can follow along. I've held out on an EHR for years, and I'm really glad I finally made the leap --and specifically to these folks.
