Osim Review - Don't buy OSIM massage chairs - Buyer Beware

Bought one of OSIMs latest massage chairs in June 2025, the uDivine V3. In less than 2 months the seat cracked. If you just sit on it normally you don't notice it as much, but when you turn on the massage chair it was very painful to sit on.

Sent pictures of the cracked seat to OSIM via their WhatsApp message. They said that it would cost $120 to replace. [WT....are you serious?] I told them in that case I want a refund as the chair was not fit for purpose and I have lost confidence in them. [Customer service is also crappy in case you hadn't noticed.]

They did a 180 and said they would replace it free this time as a "goodwill gesture" [What do you mean goodwill gesture?] but warned next time they would charge and sent a care brochure. [You mean there will be a next time and they will not hold any responsibility for it? And what was the meaning of sending a care brochure? What are they implying?] I reminded them my rights under the Lemon Law in Singapore that I was entitled to a refund. They refused and said that they would need to take back the chair to investigate which could take up to a month. [Could customer service be any worse?] They took back the chair, then I decided to go back to the department store and successfully got a refund there instead and bought a different brand.

There were a few emails, messages and calls in between but I spared you the details. This incident has left a very sour taste in my mouth and felt I should warn others about the company's focus on selling products and heck care on customer service once the product is sold - not their problem anymore. BTW after buying the new massage chair from their competitor, I realised how inadequate the OSIM chair was, with their limited programs and functionality. I would highly not recommend OSIM because of their poor customer service and callous attitude towards their customers. You have been warned. Go ahead and buy if you want poor-quality products and even worse after-sales customer service.
