Outstanding service—stands behind their hardware without the paperwork hassle

I recently had a great experience with SharkNinja's customer service that completely sets the standard for consumer care. I purchased their digital air fryer, and the quartz bulb covering the internal heating elements unfortunately broke. When I called customer service, I expected a frustrating process filled with receipt hunts and policy loops. Instead, the agent didn’t even ask for a receipt. They simply took down the batch code from the machine to verify the production timeline and immediately authorized a brand-new replacement unit to be shipped out. It is incredibly refreshing to deal with an appliance company that stands directly behind its physical hardware instead of hiding behind strict paperwork technicalities to avoid helping customers. SharkNinja has earned a loyal customer for life. Highly recommend.

Keep the box. You’ll need it to ship it back.

This relates to the “Shark Breathe Clear” air purifier.

I really wanted to like this Shark air purifier since the filter never needs to be replaced. It worked for about a month, and then I began getting “sensor-blocked” error messages. I contacted support and I also followed everything that was offered to address this issue online. Nothing worked. I reached out to customer service three times with absolutely no response, except "we're working on it and we're very busy." I've now been without a useable air purifier since all of June, and now into July. Because of the “air sensor block” error message, the noise level can be quite loud because the fan escalates in speed to full power, and you cannot sleep because it will display a bright light warning you about the blockage, which I'm attaching for you to see. It also shows the air quality level at 0% and that never changes. Before, when it worked, it was easy to use. It removed odors very quickly, actually. The size was compact, and it helped with my allergies. Now all of that's negated because I have an expensive paper weight. For the cost, which is exorbitant, I would expect more from Shark.

UPDATE: the company sent me a brand-new purifier, same model. After I sent the first one back, the replacement, in just one month, failed AGAIN with the SAME EXACT FAILURE of the sensor. I urge you to avoid this product at all costs. If you do find yourself foolish enough to try to give it a chance and order it, keep the box because you'll need that to send it back to them. I'm telling you, this thing is not worth the money or the aggravation.

Keep the box it comes in because you’ll be using it to send it back believe me.

Great Customer Service

I ordered a Ninja dual basket air fryer and it wasn't functioning properly (when I pulled a basket out with it operating, it didn't shut off as it's supposed to. They confirmed the issue via video, and before I was off the phone I had another one enroute to my home. Service couldn't have been any better.

APPLIANCES ONLY FOR 2 YEARS

I am a loyal Ninja customer owning three different appliances (Air Fryer, Blender, and Creami). Unfortunately, my experience with the Ninja Creami and the company's after-sales support has been terrible.
My Creami unit stopped working just after the 2-year warranty period due to a structural failure of the blade connection. When I contacted SharkNinja support, they were cold and dismissive, stating that they offer no support for out-of-warranty units and do not even provide spare parts for customers in Greece.

It is a shame that a brand marketed as "premium" designs its products with a 2-year expiration date and treats loyal customers like they are using disposable items. I am deeply disappointed and will be reconsidering any future purchases from this brand. Buyer beware – their durability is not what it seems.

Shark by name and nature

Ordered Shark Ninja airfryer which we received on 24th July but in the midst of unpacking realised it was mid/dark grey whereas online it looked black - we never finished removing all the packaging before placing it back into the box and initiating a return which was dropped off at Argos for DPD pick up on the same day - delivery back to Shark was confirmed on 27th July and since then I've chased up the refund several times and was considering a chargeback via my bank when I received an email from Shark advising that the refund couldn't be processed as the item they had received didn't match the item ordered - baffled and annoyed I called customer services who confirmed that was the case but couldn't tell me any more - I now have no air fryer, I'm £162 worse off, I'm dishonest according to Shark and I'm supposed to be happy they'll reinvestigate and get back to me in a few days when it's taken them 20 days just to deal with a parcel - they look like good products but woe betide you if you need to deal with customer service, it's shocking!

Brought a juicer on tick tok

Brought a juicer on tick tok. Worse machine ever.
Called custimer service for support, she said the line was bad and will call back. 5 days kater nothing.

The juicer is very slow, you have to press the buttin a few times befire it starts. Trust me you need abiut 20 oranges to do 1 glass. Before then you have to cut in tiny chunks. Used fresh tumeric on first use, stained the plastic glass part. That was the first red flag. Worst product made by shark, wouldnt recommend.
I spend a lot if money brought the latest Shark Cleaner air dehumidifiet. No problem.
Trying to purchase fkexbreeze. Git one already, wanted one for spare room. Got an email its back in stick. Wasted my time waiting for the wirker calling back, niw sold out. Yet its on tuck tick. So i cant use my blue light duscount of 20% nor the Ninja code for 20% as advertised. But expected to pay full price. Ticktick and Ninja need to ensure that their creators are not false advertising.
Had enough of Shark. Customer swrvuce has gone diwn hill. I have brought something every minth, sometimes 2 things. Not no more. Customer service not consistent.

Customer service polite ,but rubbish on this occassion. Ticktok refer me to them, Sharkninja dont wanna kniw, so i no longer want to buy

Awful customer after sales service

Recently ordered an air fryer directly from Ninja.
When it arrived it was missing the quick start guide.
Will cut a long story short and simply say that my simple request for hard copy of the guide terminated in their stating that they were unable /unwilling to do that and I should make do with a pdf version.
After sales service from this company is atrocious and I would advise to take into account very poor customer service before placing an order with them.
I personally will never be making any further purchases from them.

Outstanding customer service

I bought an air fryer, which stopped working after 11 months, I sent an email and got response very quickly that they are sending a replacement.
I also contacted customer services via phone and got through quickly, the next day I received the replacement. I have never seen such a quick action before, 5 star customer service.

Warning: Sticker!

My existing Ninja Air Fryer was aging and needed replacing. As the existing model did so well over the last five years or more I stuck with the same style and purchased the Ninja DualZone XL 9.5L model.

The new design is great but, there is a safety sticker you can not get off right on the top. I contacted Ninja and asked why they would use such ridiculous adhesive and was told its not supposed to come off. This sticker tells you it needs to be 15cm away from items! It could have been put on the back of the air fryer if Ninja think we're going to forget!

When I continued my conversation with Ninja I was informed that I could return it, and when they receive; the air fryer they would order me a replacement. Fine but the replacement will have the same sticker! on top looking hideous.

Ideally, send me a replacement without a sticker or put it on the back of the fryer and I'll return mine in the packaging from the new one (bin men recycled the box).

No idea why they put the sticker where it is. Its not displayed in any of the promotional photos so its a lovely surprise when you open the box.

I loved my air fryer but most of these…

I loved my air fryer but most of these units doesn't last long. Just long enough where it's out of warranty when it clucks out. Had mines for 3.5 years and it just died. The only offer I received from Shark was 30% off a new unit. I think I'm going to try another brand this time around.

Absolutely shocking quality and…

Absolutely shocking quality and customer service. I bought the 15-in-1 cooker for £300, expecting a premium appliance. The first one threw an E8 error (which means the unit is completely dead) while still under guarantee. They replaced it, but the replacement just broke down a few months out of warranty.
When I contacted customer service, all they offered was a 30% discount code for their website. Here’s the kicker: even with the 30% off, buying a new one through their site is more expensive than purchasing it full-price from other retailers! For a company that constantly praises itself on quality, a £300 air fryer/cooking pot shouldn't just die after a couple of years. I won’t be wasting my money on any more gadgets or equipment from this brand. Buyer beware.

SCAM OR JOKE OF A COMPANY

Bought or better said ordered their Air fryer for mothers day gift and then nothing arrived, they aren’t reachable and after weeks reaching out suddenly their phone number is blocked😰😂😂😂
But the chatbox finally worked but of course it’s AI. The chatbox before noted: evenings when we checked it’s closed only open between several office hours
Then in the day it said chatbox is at the moment not working. So you assume you would chat with a human as ai could chat also at night with you. Anyways after weeks the chatbox said hello and conclusion after asking where my product/package was that chat box lied and said delivered while the delivery company said and the notifications that they didn’t got the package since the adress was incorrect (this was correct and visible at the invoice and order)

SO DONT ORDER ITS A SCAM !!!!!!!

Air fryer

My Ninja air fryer developed a fault so I rang customer service for advice. The lady to whom I spoke was fantastic and I was most impressed with her helpfulness and the fact that within less than 24 hours I was in receipt of a new base unit.

Order cancelled by Shark Ninja and still waiting for a refund

Ordered an air fryer online - on the day it was due to arrive nothing was delivered, It was only when I checked the DPD tracking that I saw the delivery had been cancelled by Shark Ninja - they did not contact me to either explain or apologise. On calling the helpline I was told by Afeisha that the price I paid was wrong so the order was cancelled & that if I wanted to buy the air fryer the price would be almost doubled. I asked for a refund and this was confirmed & I was told I would receive by 15th May (today). Nothing received, so I called again and spoke to Bianca-Remina who said the refund had not been made and I would have to wait another 5-7 working days

Absolutely shocking service from start to finish. Reading previous reviews I can see that promising refunds and not giving this happens regularly. I guess they are hoping people give up and this enables them to steal your money

I am pleased to commend the exceptional…

I am pleased to commend the exceptional service I received regarding my malfunctioning Hoover vacuum cleaner. The customer service team provided outstanding assistance, initially by facilitating the acquisition of necessary replacement parts to restore its functionality, and subsequently by arranging a seamless replacement when the initial repair proved insufficient. Their unwavering commitment to resolving the issue was evident, and their willingness to assist was greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, I have consistently experienced positive interactions with your team concerning other appliances, including a coffee machine that required troubleshooting, as well as an air fryer, toaster, kettle, and knife set. My household is well-equipped with your products, and I attribute this to the consistently high caliber of your personnel. The team's collective professionalism and helpfulness are truly commendable.

Loyal customer insulted by Shark's "solution" for premature failure

I am a Shark power user. I own a Shark robot vacuum, a 2-in-1 unit, a handheld vacuum, a Ninja air fryer, and a blender. Despite my loyalty, Shark's support has been a massive disappointment. My vacuum failed in less than 2.5 years, and I was told that replacing the 'pod' would cost more than a brand-new machine.

Offering a mere 30% discount for a premature malfunction is an insult to a customer with five of your products. I expected a fair resolution, not to be told to throw away a 2-year-old appliance. Unless Shark provides a significant loyalty credit or a reasonable repair, I am moving all my future business to your competitors

My Air Fryer came without a user manual

My Air Fryer came without user manual or recipe booklet
I emailed customer support and asked if they could supply the user manual.
They replied saying not possible, they didn't have any spare and suggested I download one from a link they provided.
I replied saying this wasn't acceptable as I don't have a printer nor did I want to have to use my phone to look at a pdf when cooking.
They replied again saying sorry but there was nothing else thy could do ..
I replied and asked them if they could not print off a copy and post it to me..
They replied and said no..not possible.

So there you have it, a large company that was unable and or unwilling to provide the user manual ..
