Perfect Braun Replacement Motor Unit!

Ordered a Braun Replacement Motor Unit for Pulsonic and Series 7 shaver on Nov 2 via Amazon. Shipping ($5.99) was fast and it arrived Nov 8. Item was exactly as advertised and appears to be a genuine Braun OEM product. Installation took 15 minutes and was straight forward. My model 5692 shaver operates like new (and very quiet) again! Definitely recommend changing out the motor unit with this new $48 one from ShaverOutlet over purchasing a new razor which can exceed $300!

Ordered SP-92 but got SP-82

Ordered SP-92 but got SP-82. Lost $29.99!

After a few emails with Shaver Outlet, I learned that I ordered the wrong parts. Shaver Outlet let me return the parts and is sending me a full refund. They are a good, helpful company.

Based on your review, it appears that you intended to order part SP92. We're sorry that you ordered the incorrect parts. I have also searched our email and find nothing to indicate that you brought this problem to our attention prior to leaving this review. A simple email would have shed light on this issue and we would have provided return instructions for the item you ordered in error. We will follow up with a direct email as well.

They lost a part and would not replace it

Sent them my shaver for repair with a packing list of what I sent them. When I got my shaver back, the foil guard was missing. When I called and wrote them, they took no responsibility for the missing item and suggested I didn't send it or I lost it when I packed it. Sorry, no chance. They sell the missing item for $3.99. After telling them I needed a cap and a new foil and cutter, Brian said he would sell me a new foil and cutter and would "throw in" the cap. When I asked him to throw in free shipping, he ignored my request.

Folks, you have to give us adequate time to respond to an email. If you email us in the afternoon, it is very possible that you will not get a reply until the next day. This is especially true if there is a time zone difference (we are EST). The rule of thumb is to allow the merchant one business day to respond to your email requests or concerns.

American company & products with great customer service

Last year I was looking for an electric razor for my husband, and I wanted to patronize an American company (NOT Amazon) and was pleased to find Shaver Outlet, based in Florida. I also wanted a product made in the USA, and Wahl is in Illinois. I ordered the Wahl Bump-free rechargeable razor, and it worked great, which is impressive because his beard is very coarse. Recently the foil on top became scratchy to the point that he couldn't use it, so I contacted the company. They responded right away with information about the razor and a link to the replacement parts I needed. My order shipped right away, and when the parts arrived my husband easily installed them, and the razor is as good as new. In a time when good customer service is rare, this experience was a breath of fresh air!

We're sorry that you have experienced a problem. You placed your order through our store on ebay and used ebay's Global Shipping program. When using such a program, it is good to know how it works. When you use ebay's Global Shipping program, the merchant ships the package to ebay's Global Shipping warehouse in Illinois. There, ebay ships the package to your country and provides you with an international tracking number for the package. Once this happens, ebay is responsible for the package until it gets to you.
As of this writing, you have allowed only 10 days which if often not sufficient time to receive an international package. Please be patient and allow sufficient time for the package to be delivered. When it is delivered, we would appreciate you editing your feedback. Thank you

Your review here was made on the same day at about 2:00pm EST. In this short timeframe, the package has not yet left our facility. It will leave our facility near the end of the business day. Only AFTER the package has left our facility will tracking details be available and can take up to 24 hours to populate on the carrier's website.

Excellent Parts Selection, better customer service

Recently lost the guide comb for a very expensive brand new remington shaver, and was unsure if I could order just that part. Sure enough they had it in stock for like $10 plus shipping and I was overjoyed with the purchase, but about 12 hours later I found the original one and contacted their customer service to try and cancel my order. They did so quickly and without hassle and gave me a full refund. Excellent customer service and selection of replacement parts.
