Great service from Shepton Mallet Cabs. Reliable, punctual and professional. My transfer from Shepton Mallet to Castle Cary Station was smooth and comfortable, and the driver arrived exactly on time. Highly recommended and will use again.

Let down very poor service

Booked taxi in March to go to Bristol Airport in April. I received a message 10th March asking if I still wanted to go to the airport the next day - 11th March!!!
Robert apologised said it was his mistake and would see me 12th April.
I should have been worried then.
On 7th April and every day until 9th I tried to reconfirm the booking but no response from Robert. Finally on 9th April Robert cancelled the booking saying his car was off the road leaving me two days to find another company.
Very poor service CANNOT recommend

Hi

I’m really sorry for the experience you’ve had – I completely understand how frustrating and stressful this must have been, especially with an airport journey approaching.

You’re absolutely right that the initial date mix-up shouldn’t have happened, and I appreciate your patience at the time when I corrected it.

Unfortunately, the later cancellation was due to an unexpected vehicle issue that put the car off the road. While this was outside of my control, I fully accept that the communication leading up to it should have been better, and I apologise for not responding sooner to your messages.

I always aim to provide a reliable service, particularly for important journeys like airport transfers, and I regret that on this occasion I fell short.
Kind regards,
Robert
