I was very excited when Nicki approached me to be one of the founding members of She Scales. I’d not properly met her before - only seen the content she had been posting for the last few years. So if you haven’t met Nicki - prepare for a total bundle of energy. She really gives a sh*t about what she does and has all the motivation and creative ideas you normally get from 10 people.

Hi everyone! I’m Helen Hope, and I'm part of the She Scales Collective. Unlike many others in the group, I don’t run my own business. You might wonder, why am I even here then? Well, my background is in higher education and secondary schooling, and I’ve spent over 25 years working with young people. What really drew me to this organisation is its commitment to empowering women, especially female entrepreneurs.
Working with students aged 18 and up, I’m constantly looking at how this organisation can help them reach their goals. The She Scales app and our events provide essential resources and networking opportunities that foster a supportive community. This is the core reason I’m so involved; it’s all about making a difference together. The highlight for me has been collaborating with fellow members, attending events, and connecting with successful businesswomen who are eager to share their insights. This experience has broadened my understanding from purely educational to a business perspective on how we can uplift each other and propel young women forward.
The focus on equity really resonates with me. Although there are numerous initiatives out there for women, the She Scales Collective stands out because it brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds who have climbed the ladder by learning from their mistakes. The founders, Nicki, Jessie, and Dionne have set a high bar with their organisation and focus. The quality of resources and events I’ve experienced has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Take the Christmas spa event, whether its learning about nutrition with Jessie and how we can stay healthy during the festive season, Chatting with Charlotte Carter, female entrepreneur and founder of Carter bags or about how Constant Contact can enhance our business strategies was incredibly insightful. I’m eagerly anticipating our upcoming launch event to connect with even more incredible individuals. Investing in this group isn’t just about business growth; it’s about career advancement and finding a community that genuinely supports each other.
And while I will always have my educator hat on, thinking about the impact on the young people I teach and those at the university, this involvement might just inspire me to start my own venture! I hope to meet some of you soon in the She Scales Collective.

I 100% believe She Scales Collective isn’t just another membership—it’s something truly special. For me, it stands out because it’s not just about the usual ticking the boxes you get with networking; it’s about real, meaningful connections.
