After a year out of stock, the returned teryaki skewers are completely different. Recipes change I guess, not unusual, but they flat out lied and refused to admit it. Weird. Very hard to speak to anyone about the concerns, even with a complaint raised that their product ingredients labelling is wrong.
Very disappointing.

Absolutely love these products! Delicious, cruelty free and great protein content.

Unfortunately one of the curry's packaging was not in tact when it arrived. There was curry sauce all over the contents and another box was badly squashed. Waiting for a response from the company

Good service. Cannot complain.

These products are super tasty, not too hot, but well spiced, and the vegan chicken is succulent.

Shicken deliver - both in terms of to your door, when expected (important for frozen products), and in terms of taste!
I keep a range of Shicken products in my freezer for everything from a quick "I don't want to have to think about it tonight, ready in ten minutes" meal to a more involved "I'm having guests over and want to cook with Shicken as ingredients" meal.
Also, barbecues - great with marinades!

I discovered them at a pub restaurant in Wales whilst on holiday - so good I had them twice and asked what they were.

Delicious curries. Terrible customer service.

I have been buying curries from Shicken for quite a while. They are totally delicious and high in protein. And previously I have had good customer service on 2 deliveries with lots of broken packaging. They changed the packaging after that.

On my latest order I noticed the protein levels had changed on 2 of the curries. And they also didn't match what was on the website. I asked the question and have been waiting 7 weeks now for an answer.

I am tracking my protein so important to be right. Example: Jalfrezi - Nov 2025 12.6g of protein per 100g of product. Jan 2026 it's 4.7. On the website it's 6.2.
The 3 numbers don't match and why has the protein reduced so much. I have chased my emails and had replies saying they are sorry and will get someone to answer me, but nothing.

I put these through AI and the products came up as ultra processed so I am not going to order from this Company again.

The Company are bound to reply to this saying they are sorry and please contact them directly, but I have done that over and over again. Why should I be begging this Company to advise on their issues.

It is a real shame, but I hate this type of bad customer service. It feels like the customers just don't matter.

Although my family and I were unimpressed by the curry rolls or Tikka flavour of curries and kebabs, we very much enjoyed the other curry and kebab flavours - delish!!
To add, Items were missing from my order and replacements were easy to arrange and super fast to arrive!

Oh my! Shicken did not disappoint and I’m so happy I took the plunge and ordered a medley of products (possibly because I just couldn’t make up my mind what to try). Of course, I then had the slight ‘what if it’s crap’ panic but I really didn’t need to worry. The butter curry is absolute heaven, the creamy sauce is amazing and the tikka kebabs have gone down a real treat (and can be air fried too). I have no idea how shicken have managed to make something that is not only so tasty but pretty healthy too. To top it all it gets delivered in a cool bag (with ice) well packed box ready to pop in the freezer. I’m a total convert!

I've placed two orders in January.
Both orders arrived quickly.
Boxes have bubble wrap bags with frozen ice cube bags. I messaged about these and they are not recyclable. The rest of the packaging are recyclable.
The food is really good. I have struggled to make myself food for a year but I pop a few kebabs in the airfrier and 15 minutes later its ready, I have been having salad and wraps/pitta/nana. I've not had lots to tidy up afterwards. The garlic nann is really good, two minutes in the airfrier and its lovely, bit crispy 😋. I tried the chocolate browny and it was delicious 😋. The curry is lush!!! I didn't know it was two servings. I tried the curry and rice in one tub and it was nice, could have done with a little bit more sauce in it, for me. I've eaten better over the last month than I did last year.

Great customer service, amazing food and speedy delivery

We love Shicken. The food is great and delivery is always quick. Now that they have expanded their range there is even more choice.

The curries and kebabs are excellent with plenty of flavour. The Pilau rice we tried for the first time last night and that was also good. Looking forward to trying the Curry Rolls.

With them being local to where we live it is also great to buy from a local business.

Will definitely be ordering again soon.

This is the best vegan Indian food I've tasted! I've really missed seekh kebabs since going vegan but these are amazing! I really like the tikka kebabs and the curries too, and the salted caramel brownie is to die for! I only wish they did a vegan raita to go with the seekh kebabs, maybe one day

I have been seeing Shicken Foods all over my social media. Looking at all of these adverts and the testimonials got me interested in trying this, so I took the opportunity during Cyber Monday discount of 40% off to try a whole bunch of their meals.

When it arrived, it arrived safely in a box containing freezer bags, and it was definitely all fresh. The first curry I tried was the Madras Curry; it was absolutely delicious, the best curry I've ever had. Nicely spiced, although I can handle more spicier than this. I had it with the Garlic Naan; it was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be ordering that again. Plus, it was very high protein, 42.8 grams of protein just in one pack. That's amazing.

I have tried other meal delivery services, and they don't even come anywhere close to that nor are they as nutritious or delicious as what Shicken Foods offers. The next thing I tried was the Butter Curry; that was also very delicious. I had that with the high protein Pilau Rice; again, very delicious. There's so much flavour and so much texture. The only time I've ever had something like this is at a high-quality Indian restaurant, so very good job done by the Indian chefs at Shicken Foods.

I have ordered many more things that I am sure will also be equally delicious, and I can't wait to try them all. But overall, I've had a great experience, and I definitely look forward to ordering more. I plan on having a subscription for this because I'm not going to get anything to this quality anywhere else. However, I am also interested in the discounts because it can be a bit pricey, so that's one thing to look out for. But other than that, I think the food you get is high quality.
