Shields Magnetics Reviews

Awesome web site. Easy to use.

I went with Shields Magnetics because their magnetic brooms are made in the USA and they don’t count the wheels in the length of their magnets. My unit was damaged in shipping but they were really nice to correspond with and made it right. Thanks.

We use this for new home construction cleanup. The magnet's power is just about right for dragging things out of the dirt. The release mechanism is difficult to operate when you have loaded up the bottom with a bunch of metal. And, it's too early to tell but I'd be surprised if the weak point in the design is not the handle. That's a lot of flex down there at the connection to the sweep and one carriage bolt and a relatively small anchor brace just ain't gonna do it. They say to remove the handle every time you "store" it but that isn't practical for construction. Generally, we leave things assembled. But, on the whole, we like it.

I havent recieved my order but excited that I found a sweeper made in America. 👍😃

I received my order today, Thank You!
Shipping must be slow!

If their response reaction time is an indicator of thorough and prompt service then 5 stars is warranted. Surprise free postage and immediate shipping of my new nail-picking magnet. And it was made in the USA.
Update: Received as promised and performs well. Picked up nails that dropped below my staging while new garage was under construction. It “saw” nails I couldn’t see and grabbed them. Useful mechanism to drop off acquired nails. Simple, easy, time saving.

I did a lot of research before buying this. I liked the fact that it is AMERICAN made! It is a very heavy duty magnet & it picked up all the nails & screws from a roof tear down & new install. We were considern that when mowing there would be some metal left in the grass, this wasn't the case.
This magnet is more expensive then what you would get @ a local home improvement store. But there is no comparison, this baby does the job & will last.

Very easy to order online. Called into customer service who returned call quickly. Minimal assembly and all questions answered. Now to wait and use my new tow behind magnet once it arrives.

Super good communication and quick response. A pleasure all around.

Very satisfied with quality and customer service ! Product is as advertised and exceeds expectations, Thanks again!

The 30" mag roller was delivered within 4 days of ordering. Very well built with a sturdy handle and large wheel axle bolts. Has locking nuts on wheels so they won't come off and have adjustable height. It was well worth the $209 I spent, picked up many nails from a recent roofing job and will be handy in the shop.

i am pleased with the transaction, the only thing i would like to see change is in the confirmation i would like to know when the product is shipping. with an approx. delivery date.

I’m impressed with this magnet I use it for my commercial building and parking lot got tired of patching tires. This magnet picks up ever loose nail out there even picks up thumb tacks.

Trying this out for our yard.

So far so good! Jen was on top of it in responding to my questions. I have not received my magnet yet but will do a follow up once I have it here.

This review is purely for customer service since I haven't received order yet. Jen went above and beyond to ensure that I could receive products all the way here in Hawaii. She researched shipping and was able to ship order in the most cost effective way! We truly appreciate her help and cannot wait to receive products. Thank you, Jen!

slick as a whistle to order what I wanted.
