Everything was going good until they started losing shipments. I also wish they can send a notification that certain shipments were not delivered so I can file a claim but noo..
I recommend checking every order every other week to make sure it get's delivered. And file a claim when it does not.
(For domestic destinations, you may file a claim after 15 days have passed since the last carrier tracking update. All domestic lost in transit claims must be submitted within 45 days from the last carrier tracking update)
So make sure to run your whole business and stay on top of every single tracking number status/claim dates.

Inefficient Shipping
Purchased some clothing items and shipping seemed to be moving along as they went from CA all the way to PA which is one state away. For some reason they were then shipped down to TX and then to IN. Assuming the reviews of higher shipping costs are due to the terrible operational planning.

Problematic attitude, zero commercial sense
Very disappointing experience with ShipBob.
Rigid rules, circular logic, and a dismissive condescending attitude.
Communication was slow, repetitive, and unhelpful. A call was scheduled, then cancelled, and after multiple exchanges the answer was still a generic rejection with no attempt to understand our situation.
This kind of attitude is highly problematic for brands. Don’t expect flexibility or real partnership here.

In the Ecommerce space, you need 2 reliable things, a supplier and a warehouse. With Shipbob there is a chance your whole warehouse logistics and supply chain ruins your business, the damages from something like this happening are irreversible and Shipbob takes 0 accountability

: Denton warehouse lost majority of my WRO and multiple SKUs. We had backorder for all the items, after 2 weeks of delaying our customers, we finally got another WRO arrive at Denton warehouse so we can restock the lost units, AND THEY LOST THEM AGAIN, there is too much coincidence for our most expensive items to always be lost especially during peak season
❌ Severe receiving delays: WROs sat in “internal transfer” and receiving/stowing was repeatedly delayed due to short staffing, causing 90+ backorders, refunds, and customer trust damage.
❌ No transparency or accountability: ShipBob refused to provide scan logs, camera footage, or clear explanations for how items disappear after being received.
❌ Inadequate resolution: Lost items are simply labeled “misplaced” and only manufacturing cost is credited, ignoring retail value, marketing spend, refunds, chargebacks, and brand damage + shipping to their warehouse.
❌ Bottom line: The Denton warehouse is not reliable for inventory that goes missing, SLAs don’t protect merchants, and ShipBob offers minimal compensation with zero real accountability
The worse company I have ever experienced.
Do not use these guys!! extremely damaging for our business using this company. they will give you an account manager for a month then once that month is over it is near impossible to get a hold of anyone. they made so many mistakes with international shipping invoices that literally cost 1000's of dollars each time. lost stock, lost parcels. that they just wash thier hands of after they have done it. All there reviews are bot reviews. run for the hills

I've been with Shipbob for 1+ year shipping 2,000+ orders per month and the entire experience has been one long headache.
Huge delays in processing and receiving inbound stock (current shipment was delivered over a week ago and status still showing as 'awaiting arrival') and abysmal customer service who are slow to respond and unable to effectively troubleshoot.
I spend around £10,000 per month with them and don't have a dedicated point of contact - I have to go through their ticketed customer support system which sends automated responses, or connects you to a representative in India if you push. It is not possible to connect with anyone in the warehouse where our stock is actually held and managed.

I am an existing Shipbob client sending thousands of orders a month. I can't believe the service I have recieved this month. Months of delays, my stock arriving and them not bothering to process for weeks. If you are a small business, avoid this company, they nearly destoryed my reputation.
Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. Lost my inventory, shipped orders late, inefficient packing so they charged more than they needed to for shipping, Shipped my products to another business instead of sending to me, took the packaging off of my products for some random reason that I now have to fix, won't reimburse me for their errors. I would never work with this company again. Everthing thing they handled had a problem with it and they over charged for everything. Nice website but the people in the warehouse were a mess.
Paid for a journey to nowhere
Paid for shipping (and for order protection) for a product my dog needed. Paid for the product 10-9, shipped 10-21. After a week of waiting. I put in a claim. It was reshipped. After a week of being told it was in transit - it wasn't they finally agreed.. cause if you looked deeper (like opening an extra link) it said it was dead in the water by the carrier. I pushed for a refund and got it. Even my dog was baffled by the incompetent journey to nowhere.

Has to be the worst service I have EVER USED in my ENTIRE LIFE.
You will spend 6 hours creating WRO's, booking slots and having to stick on 300 labels to every box.
It is the most overengineered, terrible check in system I have ever used from any warehouse company in my ENTIRE CAREER.
Whatever you do, do not use shipbob.

We work with ShipBob in the UK and USA and have found their customer service team to be highly responsive. Any issues are dealt with promptly to ensure our orders are fulfilled correctly.
We feel that our money is well spent.
Our company is a young and rapidly growing publishing house. We've been working with ShipBob for 5 years now. We are quite happy with their services. They help us store and distribute our inventory, fulfill our Kickstarter orders, Shopify orders, Amazon orders, and various B2B orders. It's definitely not the cheapest option in the market, but they give you better prices if you sign a long-term contract with them. They are also good at dealing with big order surges. This is very important to us, as most of our projects are preorder-based. Of course, some minor issues, delays, and mishaps occur from time to time. People are working there after all, not robots. However, the overall level of service is still WAY higher than we got from some other fulfillment companies we tried partnering with. The support is much better, too. So, we feel that our money is well spent.

Shipbob is great. However, some of the carriers are seemingly misrepresenting their pickup status from Shipbob and packages are not getting delivered on a daily basis.
Amazon is the worst culprit.

ShipBob has been a solid 3PL partner for our brand.
