I will not advice this company

I will not advice this company. This company is not a real Business in yachts. But its the old fashion car dealer on the corner. And have also the service of this. So NO SERVICE! All is fake. I make a email. Almost no reaction. Than i give a call and Henry van Gerve was taking the phone. Yes come down to Amsterdam and we have a lot of boats. I booked flights to Amsterdam to visit a boat that they advertise. Get tickets for more than 500 euro. I come to the small village and visit the office. Marcel Catsman was helping me there. So we walked to the marina and….NO BOAT what was advertised. Only old damaged boats. I went back to the office and said that this is absolutely not how it works. But after that they say.. we can fly to Spain to visit.
Crazy guys! NO respect for clients!
So in my opinion; don’t go to this company! It’s all fake and prices on internet are not real! This guys are cowboys. Greetings Bernd

Boats are not available

We are in the market for a new boat and have contacted ShipCar regarding relevant boats on their webpage. Every time they have no information about the boat and there is nowhere you can see which boat are sold or not - actually we don’t believe they have the boats for sale
Poor service and misleading webpage :-(

Not trustworthy

I agreed to buy a Princess 50 from Shipcar Yachts and completed and signed a contract which included all important and relevant details to be repaired and serviced by Shipcar. Before delivery Derek Starink informed me that all items in the contract were repaired and the boat was like “a fantastic new boat” and I was told that I did not need to go to Holland to control before payment because everything was just perfect. Derek offered to deliver the boat to Cuxhaven and I just had to pay before delivery. I trusted Derek and paid which was a bad idea. Later I found out that several important technical issues were not repaired at all, as agreed in the contract. Shipcar was not willing to fulfill the contract and refused to pay for my expenses in that regard. My recommendation is: Do not believe in what you are told by Shipcar, never pay in advance and make sure to check all details on the boat before delivery.
