To me the service was just basic
To me the service was just basic. They receive and send your package.
However, I don’t agree with the policy with having to provide personal identity documents without a clear indication of the necessity of this. I already made this known to the customer service. They claim that clients are made aware of this beforehand. If so, the alert is not clear enough or thoroughly explained. Not sure if I will use their services again

We’re sorry to hear that our identity verification requirement came as a surprise. Providing identity documents is unfortunately a necessary part of operating a parcel forwarding service in Germany and is required for legal, compliance, and fraud-prevention reasons. We do proactively inform customers about this step. You’ll find notices wherever your German address is displayed - in the welcome e-mail, the step-by-step getting started guide in your dashboard, and on the “My address” page before your first shipment. This is intended to ensure that any customer placing an order using their German address has come across this information beforehand.
That said, we do take your feedback seriously. If the information didn’t feel clear or prominent enough, that’s something we can improve, and we’ll review how we communicate this requirement to make it even more transparent.

We've been shipping large bike shipments with them for a few months now and Ship German has been an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. Their support and processing are as close to perfect as it gets (incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely committed to helping every step of the way). They don’t just react to issues; they anticipate and prevent them before they even occur, which is rare in logistics.
Every interaction shows how thorough and knowledgeable the team is. They go above and beyond any logistics carrier I’ve ever worked with, making sure every detail is handled with precision and care. Shipments are delivered quickly with excellent lead times and top-notch quality. Truly outstanding service; I couldn’t recommend Ship German more highly!

Above and beyond, responsive
Highly recommended. Vitus (and team) are fast, responsive to communication, and generally more helpful than any other forwarding service I've ever used. Especially considering the current importing chaos. Vitus helped me sort documentation (not his job), and chased a damage claim for me, ultimately going out of his way to make sure I got compensated. It's worth the cost just have him as your liaison in case something goes wrong.

Super easy and fast middle man for European shipping
I wanted to order from a European company that does not ship to the United States. I found ShipGerman through a google search and decided to give it a try.
