Such an excellent tool to source relevant investors in your industry. The breakdown of min/max check sizes, recent investments, and portcos (plus stage invested!) is super helpful. Always very impressed with how many updates and enhancements are made.

The only thing missing is being able to search by investor when you want to personalize outreach, but other than that it’s such a useful tool and has really sped up my fundraising prep.

Really helpful for finding investors in your domain

After creating a fresh work email address I signed-up to ShipShape VC to help contact VCs.

Within a week I was receiving tens of emails a day from other companies trying to sell me all sorts of rubbish from organising corporate balloon parties to hiring remote data entry employees. Most of these are not being caught by the spam filter and I may have to burn my address since they are consistently blowing up my inbox.

The website itself, although looks fantastic, doesn't provide any real value. I used it for a few days but it mostly provided generic categorisation for VCs.

I ended up trading a life-time of unfiltered spam for what amounted to a glorified google search.
