Shoppers great - App has problems

Shoppers are usually polite and try to please the customer. But I am furious that Shipt app does not let you see your original order after delivery - you can only see what was delivered. I have often seen items missed, but can't go back to my original order to verify. Did the shpper screw up, or did the app, or did I? I'd like to know!!

Wrongfully delivered after clear…

Wrongfully delivered after clear communication about putting my neighbors apt . My door faces her door so I sat outside waiting and the driver confirmed she would deliver to my correct address (I have the receipts to prove she confirmed) also the door she sent isn’t my door or my neighbors. Huge scam. Refused to give me a refund even with receipts

Incompetent

I needed some specialty cables for an emergency project. I bought some small items that were unavailable for pickup from Best Buy, and they used Shipt as their shipping company. The driver apparently couldn't figure out how to deliver to a business, because I found out the next day the item was returned. I would get a refund in 10 days.
What a joke of a delivery service for Best Buy to use. I'm ordering from Amazon; they've never had a problem delivering.

The worse experience ever

The worse experience ever. The driver never arrived at the right complex. I keep telling him the right address which a minute from where he was. My A/C is out and I purchased a fan so that my baby wouldn't be hot and could rest through the night. I called customer service and they completely ignored me

No one knows what the hell is going on…

No one knows what the hell is going on at the company. Why the hell does Best Buy use them to deliver products that are not in their immediate inventory at Best Buy. Appointment window isn’t accurate and per Shipt delivery drivers can refuse an order.

No longer the service they used to be

They were good while they lasted.
Gone are the good old days over the pandemic Shoppers actually got decent shop/deliver grocery orders... not the case anymore. They've changed heads several times in recent years, and half the orders popping up are ridiculous doordash crap that pays $5. Mostly outsourced support like everyone else, that barely answers coherent.
Wasted time ordering a new card for nothing.

i wish i could give NO STARS. I was told delivery would be within 2 hours. THREE AND 1/2 HOURS LATER, i received NO word and could not get in touch with them!!! Had to cancel order and go elsewhere.

I just started a Shipt membership - cancelled after 5th bad order

I just started a Shipt membership. First 3 orders were cancelled. 4th order took an hour longer than when driver left the store. The time of arrival kept changing. At least 7 times. Order had ice cream in it. Arrived melted. 5th order was a gift to my Step-mom in another state. Order was delivered to wrong address or driver stole it. Said delivered, but she never received. 5 strikes. Cancelled. Do better

Hello I am a shipt shopper and have been for about a year I really wish that shipt would not have their fee for shipt customers as delivery fee when they are not the one delivering and us shoppers are not getting that fee. We only get the fee you pay us and if you tip. Please be mindful when doing your order and think of who really is taking good care of you. Thank you.

Poor Delivery / Cancellation / Help Desk Experience

Ordered Wednesday evening at 5PM for an 8PM-9PM delivery slot. Waited till after 9PM and was notified the delivery would be delayed until the morning. Now mind you - part of the order was my dinner. Tried to stay positive and chalked it up to folks do not want to work late anymore and no drivers shoppers were available.

New delivery time was 8AM-9AM on Thursday. Time rolls through and I get a message - "I've finished shopping for your order. I'm on my way and will be there soon!" Then I get - "Forgive me I've gotten turned around with the navigation. I do believe I may be in the vicinity - Shipt: Melodee delivered your order." Finally - "I've gotten late because I did not have the proper location - I'm speaking with an adjacent place - Order is Cancelled". Now mind you this was my dinner from the night before plus some shopping items.

Order was charged as if delivered. Spent several hours calling - their phone lines were down, spent significant time with Help Desk support. Best offered was to cancel the charge and $10.00

Point is beware, Customer service is not as good as it would appear on here. There are challenges with service from all these delivery services. If you are expecting something important, better to rouse yourself up and go get it.

SHIPT wants my kids & I to starve...

I'm a poor student & single father of 2. Bought a large shipt gift card for a good deal from a legit retailer to get more groceries than I normally could for cash. I attempt to use the gift card and they freeze my account. They tell me to send in documents to verify my identity, address, and the validity of the gift card. I send everything in that's required within minutes and explain to them that I have no other money I bought this gift card to feed my kids and I. Its now been 2 weeks. Still dont have my gift card, still cant use my account and nobody will respond to me via customer service. Filed with the BBB & just filed with my state's consumer protection agency... DONT EVER USE SHIPT FOR ANYTHING. IVE NEVER FELT SO PICKED ON BY A CORPORATION IN MY LIFE.

Extremely unreliable!

Every time I try to use Shipt, they invariably cancel the delivery time numerous times. They can't seem to get anyone to work so that they can schedule appropriately. DoorDash and Instacart are much, much better, and I don't have the issue of multiple cancellations. If I could give less than a 1 rating, I would. Exceptionally poor & frustrating customer service!!

I accepted an order shop for the one item spent the next 45 minutes at the checkout trying to figure out why the barcode wouldn't scan with an inexperienced representative on the phone and after my patients wore out I had them remove the order and they offered to pay me $5 for my hour of my time I would not recommend this app to anybody

Ordered a package from Best Buy

Ordered a package from Best Buy, paid next day delivery. Shipt couriers did not pick it up for 5 days at the store. The store wouldn't release the package to me because it was awaiting courier pickup. Best Buy auto cancels after 5 days, and the sales people told me the package had been opened and now on their sales floor at full price, but it was out of stock on the floor. Longmont, CO Shipt couriers did not pick up a prioritized incentivized package for 5 days that was a 10 minute trip down the road, and Shipt had no way of letting customer pick it up ourselves. Possible fraud for someone between the store and the couriers to let packages "slip" in the system.

Long time customer scammed hundreds

I’ve been using shipt for years and even used to be a shopper. I haven’t had any issues with this company on both fronts. This past order.. I was charged TWICE on my food stamps and card. I was also overcharged. I didn’t notice because I have always had zero issues with Shipt until I saw my statement few days after the order and realized everything was charged almost three times what the actual subtotal was.

I will most likely spend hours on the phone with customer service and that’s with zero hope that they will see the error and fix it. It seems major companies are capable of fraud and this is one of the last companies I’ve depended on. People rely on these services especially when dealing with medical issues and the fact that this is even possible with such a huge company makes me exhausted and sick in general when it comes to greed. The pricing in general for anyone to use delivery services is already so high and for someone to triple charge a regular customer is nuts. People who are stuck at home due to health issues or disability have little to rely on and the fact that this is just a common issue make it all the more pathetic. Even if shipt resolves this which I highly doubt, I would never ever use these services ever again for groceries. I’d rather pay someone i know at this point which is just as risky. For the average person who is either disabled or struggling to make ends meet, it’s sad that everywhere you look to rely on something is met with corruption. This is one of the biggest and most successful companies to pull this crap. My original total for this order is a fraction of what I was charged. I’m at my limit with everything in this world just centering around greed and corruption. I don’t look forward to the customer service cal that will last me hours of repeating myself to zero resolution and just further distrust in pretty much any company at this point.

I can understand errors but the fact that I was charged almost three times the total is mind blowing for such a big company. Food stamps aren’t even refunded. I’m sickened and exhausted that there is nothing to rely on anymore. There is no other company I can rely on for large grocery orders now without spending even more than this. I hope all these companies sink but we all know fraud and corruption usually wins. I have always promoted shipt and now I’m just disgusted. Another corrupt company going down in history. I regret ever promoting shipt. Please be careful and you might have an easier time trusting people you know than any of these companies. I had a feeling anyone who uses food stamps will be overcharged but this is the highest overcharge I’ve ever seen from any of these companies. It’s not worth the risk anymore. I’m more than done with shipt and all these companies.
