SafeHands Nursing Care is a CQC-registered, nurse-led care provider specialising in complex nursing care and support for adults in their own homes. We support people living with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, complex respiratory needs and other long-term health conditions. We also provide palliative and end-of-life care, supporting individuals and their families through what can often be a difficult and sensitive time. Our services include tracheostomy and ventilation care, enteral feeding, catheter and bowel care, seizure management, medication support, personal care, respite care and live-in care. We provide support ranging from a few hours a day to round-the-clock care, depending on the individual's needs. Our approach starts with understanding the person, their clinical needs, daily routines, preferences and what matters to them. We work closely with individuals, their families, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure care is properly planned and reflects how each person wishes to live their life. Being nurse-led means that clinical oversight is an important part of our service, not something that sits separately from day-to-day care. Our staff receive training specific to the needs of the people they support, with competency assessments, clinical supervision and ongoing reviews to ensure they are confident and capable of providing the care required. We take our responsibilities seriously, from how we recruit and prepare our staff to how we communicate with families, respond to concerns and monitor the quality of care being delivered. We believe people should know who is looking after them, feel comfortable raising questions and have confidence that their care is being managed properly. Above all, we want the people we support to feel that they are being treated as individuals, with their dignity, choices and independence respected. Best Serviced Recieved

I’m very happy with my experience with SHNC. From the beginning, everything was arranged quickly and smoothly, and the team listened to all my requests and made sure everything was put in place.

The staff were warm, patient and welcoming, which made the whole experience very comfortable and reassuring. Everything was handled calmly and professionally, which made a real difference.

One of the things I appreciated most was knowing that someone was always available to answer my calls if I needed help or had any concerns. Although I didn’t need to call for support, simply knowing that someone was there gave me real peace of mind.

I’m truly grateful to SHNC for making the whole experience so smooth and stress-free. I would definitely use their services again and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable and professional care.
