The food and service at the Shoal is superb
The food at the Shoal is superb, generously served and very reasonably priced. The location is good, at the lower end of Winchester near the Guildhall, and the ambience in the place itself is friendly and relaxing. Of particular note is the service. The people who served me and my friends on the last 2 occasions I have been there were so kind, attentive and helpful. I particularly appreciate the help of Nicola, one of the waitress staff, and Tara, the manager. Really lovely experience and I look forward to going again.

Ethical Banking That’s Clear and Accessible
I’ve been with Shoal for a while now and have nothing but good things to say. The variety of savings terms, like the 7-day and one-year Savings Pots, are great for planning ahead. The app is easy to use, and the Impact Calculator shows how my money contributes to positive change.

Great way to save!
Happy to know my savings are being invested in ethical projects. Love the app and how you can have different pots for different amounts . Gives me the flexibility I need to manage my savings.

Ethical savings with a good return
Really happy with my new Shoal account- it’s hard to find ethical savings providers who also offer a really competitive interest rate so I was thrilled when Shoal launched. So far the process has been simple and the app is very user-friendly. Would recommend!

Excellent way to save - especially the 7 day pot if you dont want to tie up money for too long. Easy to use app and if anything goes wrong great customer service sorts things out instantly. Plus the sustainability aspect too. Love that.
