Terrible company, wrecked my shoes and then disappeared.

Would rate them lower than 1 if I could !!! Daughter sent her £300 wedding shoes that she got from America to be cleaned. Cut a long story short - they lost them!!!!! Tried blaming DPD even though there was no paperwork or tracking to prove they'd been sent to her! In the end, after months of them not responding to our request to refund the cost of the shoes and cleaning payment, we took them to the small claims court. They were ordered by the court to pay my daughter the cost of the shoes, the cleaning cost and interest. They have ignored the court order. Onto the next legal step. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

The service we thought we'd paid for turned out it wasn't and had to pay for more to be done. Very slow service, had to chase trainers a few times before finally getting them back. Would I use this service again? After this no!

Worst service I’ve ever received, if I could give zero I would. The communication was terrible, they had my designer bag for over 2 months and it came back worse than I sent it! They damaged it and didn’t even send me the strap back. When I asked for it to be sent back and a refund for the “cleaning” service I was blocked! I do recommend this company, they are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!

Send £1000 pair of shoes and apparently SL is no more! DPD tried to delivery x4 times. Won’t speak to me as the QR for delivery was raised my SL. Shoes Lost! Absolutely ridiculous company and you can still book online now!

SCAMMERS AVOID AVOID If I could leave less stars I would. They don’t reply to your emails they sent me an additional bill of £150 and they didn’t do anything ! The shoes are stained blue! They only changed my laces ?!!!! And now the number they used to contact me is out of service ! a scam! Avoid avoid avoid !!

Sent my trainers off to them on dec 18th 2025, had to chase them to send me the shipping label (which was a bit of a red flag to start with) but gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Communication was good to begin with, but I have had no response to numerous emails for 4 weeks now.
Paid extra for glue, painting & laces, so I’m now a pair of trainers and £126 down the drain.
I recently searched on companies house, and there is information on there that states that the company is due to be dissolved in the next couple of months due to lack of accounts filing. This tells me that they have been actively taking orders knowing that they will never come to fulfilment as one last desperate cash grab before they go under. If this is the case I hope they receive severe legal repercussions as what they are doing is daylight robbery.
Do not send anything to these incompetent cowboys. It’s utterly pathetic and cowardly.

This company is a scam. It's a front to obtain your items by deception. I sent my designer trainers to them months ago and all I've had is excuse up until almost a month ago when commination stopped. Their company is registered to a solicitor firm in Manchester and their directors are all listed on companies house so I've now referred the matter to GMP and will be submitting a claim for their replacement plus cost via the court. If they have ruined or 'lost' (stolen) your belongings I suggest you do the same. The fact they don't have their shop address registered speaks volumes.

I had my well-loved White Air Max 90s cleaned recently, and they returned looking as if they were fresh out of the box. I'll certainly be a returning customer!

Wouldn’t know what the service is like know never got a shipping label to send my trainers in. Despite instant messaging and email communication still not had a shipping label and no refund. Shocking customer service. They keep saying they will send label but it never gets emailed. I want my £40+ back!!!

Sent my Louboutins off to shoe lab thinking they was able to do a professional clean and really unhappy with the results I sent them in the dust bags which came with the shoes and didn't even receive them back l,the customer service and communication is not good at all they took over a month before I received them back for 1 pair of shoes , they had light staining on the shoe and they still came back with stains on they, didn't even let me know otherwise they should've said they couldn't do it, but instead they charged me £20 extra on top of the £50 for (glue work ) they are literally the same no different please don't use this company as they are not a professional shoe cleaning business

They recently cleaned my White air max 90s which I have had for years and they have come back brand new. Will definitely use again!

Took about 4 weeks and the suede was clean but destroyed

AVOID. These guys trashed my very expensive rare shoes. Told me they needed a clean and once they had the shoes told me they needed dyeing. Charged over £200 and have RUINED the shoes. The soft suede has been turned into cardboard. Communications are non existent, quite frankly this is criminal and I’m not the only one sadly

Not happy with the repair on my Gucci bag for the money I spent. Very poor customer service

Very very poor product and service. My sandals are worse after Shoelab took them. Literally no response to my complaints and I have been totally ignored.
I will never use them again and do not recommend.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible experience. It took months to get my shoes back. Please check their ratings and reviews on Google — those provide a much more accurate representation of what you can expect from their service.

Absolutely shocking business
Sent my shoes off 4th sept got told on the 11th they would be back to me in a weeks time
After countless ignored messages I had to threaten to report as stolen to the police received a phone call that day to say someone was off sick hence the delay
Received my shoes back today 24th October (7 weeks later) in awful condition could have done a better job painting them myself!!
£170 down the drain

Fantastic service. They did a brilliant job of refurbishing my designer bag. It looks new!
The team were friendly and professional. Providing me with updates. Communication excellent!

Every time ShoeLab never disappoints. Great customer service (they reply quickly!) And my goodness my shoes have come back looking brand new! Highly recommend.
