We chose Shofer Ltd for our transport because we couldn’t find any other company offering pet travel together with the owner. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and availability of space in the minibus. Our dog was able to sit freely next to us, which was very important to us.

Despite the long and demanding journey, the company handled any complications quickly and efficiently. The drivers were also very friendly and made the trip more enjoyable. We were picked up and dropped off at the specified addresses without any issues.

I will definitely use this company’s services again in the future and will gladly recommend it to my friends. Best regards!

Complete professionalism. Excellent communication. During the trip, great attention was paid to the well-being of the pets being transported. My husky and I have used the company's services four times already.

Kamila was excellent with a happy approach, but professional very easy to talk to and reassuring and when the pick up for our boy arrived she kept us informed at every step of the journey .. very recommended

Best company I’ve traveled with so far. Nice people , always updating closer to the journey. Shofer took me and my dog and took very good care of us . You will not be bored tv is available so time went quick . Very recommend this company

I can only add to what others shared... Horrile communication. Fake reviews at their website made me believe they are legit.... No way of making them committ to specific date and time. Lies. I was told the bus is booked for my pets only but ultimately they packed the bus with animals and my pets had to travel for 3 days!!! I received them stressed, weak and malnourished!!! When the bus was passing customs, I was woken up at 2 am! and had to urgently write the driver a handwritten letter that the pets are mine and I live in the UK! In the end they tried to add extra £100 to the service without any explanation!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT

I am very pleased with this company. I have used this transport company twice now. Both times very friendly , very helpful and amazing drivers. We were travelling from UK to Poland with all our belongings and 2 dogs. The comfort of the transport and looking after us was amazing. I did not expect my journey to be this good. The drivers helped us pack and unpack at destination, they provide comfortable seats , and even a TV which makes the journey even better .
I definitely recommend this company for anyone who’s wanting to travel even with pets !

‘lost’ my belongings because overbooked the space for additional last minute people and throw my things between cars. More people than space. Traumatic really, I couldn’t do much about it afterwards, it was scary experience and I regret I didn’t cancel on the first red flag.

Avoid.

I made a booking with the transport company Shofer one week ago for a trip this Thursday. From the very start, communication was extremely poor—only voice messages via WhatsApp, without clear information. After several calls, I was suddenly told there were 10-hour delays in Dover and that the departure would be rescheduled to Friday morning. But Friday morning came—again, no contact.
When I called again, they referred me to the driver, who then claimed he had been in an accident four hours ago and refused to pick me up. What a complete circus! The company offered no replacement transport, no advice, and just left me stranded. I suspect the alleged delays and the “accident” were made up. I was abandoned, and now I’m warning everyone—avoid them like the plague.

I would recommend you do not use this company based on the experience of my relations. They did not turn up when booked led us to believe they were coming but no. Then then implied that because we complained that we were allegedly threatening them. It is up to you but I would keep well clear, probably better to carry the goods on your back.

Please DO NOT trust this company with your belongings or pets. They reschedule multiple times , lie, threaten before delivering the goods. I have booked half a van with them to move countries and ended up with only a part of space I have paid for, ending up with 30% of my stuff still in the house. I was promised that the rest will be taken next week. I booked two delivery addresses in the same town, one for my Pet and one for my belongings (self storage). I had made sure 1. They can do it 2. Paid full service to have these delivered to two address. The driver called my HANDICAPPED mom (which I informed them in advance that we will need someone to unpack the van for us) that he arrived at the first address (where just the pet was supposed to be delivered) and he doesn’t care for the rest, he will drop all the things here and now on the street. What kind of treatment is that?

When I called the office to clarify what’s going on and hear back that “we never agreed to two addresses” (I have messages for this and there was multiple phone calls) I called them unprofessional and unserious. Then the “owner” picked up the phone said he’s feeling insulted and will never speak to me again. WHAT! I was told that if I don’t pay the remaining balance right away they will take everything including my dog and dump it somewhere and I can look for it myself.. imagine how scared and freaked out I was!!! After some negotiating with the driver he finally agreed to take things to the second address. While unpacking, they tried to come in inside SMOKING in a place full of boxes. What the hell?! After they kept throwing our things, my mom had to hire two man who happened to be on site unpacking other storage to help her out, while the Shofer employees were helping standing around.

Week after I called the office and drivers again, I wanted to hold them accountable for taking the rest of the belongings. First I was told they will be coming on a Monday, they never arrived. I had to leave the flat, I was forced to pay another company to take the rest of my things which doubled all my moving costs. Thanks to company DAREK TRANS everything was concluded professionally. They saved my day as I was already out of my old house with expensive equipment basically out on the street.

The review is published 3 weeks into trying to deal with Shofer LTD , many messages and unanswered phone calls because according to the “owner” Tomasz I am the one in the wrong.

He said all phone calls are recorder. I wish it were true so I could publish them for everyone to hear how this company actually deals with clients! If I find a way to report them to British government - I will!
