I wish I had read the reviews before making a purchase. Please trust the bad reviews!
I ordered a dressing table, received the wrong one but decided to keep it. After assembling most of it, I found that one of the mirrors had been put on back front. This means it cannot be fixed to the table.
Michael was helpful in the beginning, but after assuring me a replacement part would be sorted, has taken to ignoring me. I have also emailed the other 2 email addresses associated with shoohouse and I’ve still not had a reply. I’ve emailed all 3 addresses a fair few times.
I’ve asked for the dressing table to be collected, refunded, or replacement part sent. You can take your pick!
I’ve even asked for the manufacturer’s contact details for me to arrange a replacement myself… still nothing.
This has been ongoing since July.

Ordered some lights realised they were the wrong ones, have emailed several times, called, went straight to the tesco mobile answer machine, no lights recieved, no contact from this company, Stay well clear, if it is a real company then their customer service is rubbish, and you will not get the products you have ordered.

I ordered an item in January and although it said it was in stock, it is now May and has not arrived.
I raised my concerns to their customer service email & did receive a generic response explaining they were struggling with the pandemic... I completely understood this, as it has been very unprecedented times & therefore continued waiting.
When April arrived, I wrote again & I am still waiting for a reply - although I did receive an email asking me to review my item - comical really!!
I have written again now it’s May... requesting a refund, however I’m not holding out hope.

Unfortunately I ordered a cabinet for a rental property i was preparing. The website advised the product was instock and delivery in 2-10 days. We had 15 days to prepare the house and that was it but i wasnt worried, the web experience and checkout was excellent and better than most big name stores.
After 5 days I emailed the team asking for an update and tracking number and had no response. I called their phone number (tesco mobile voicemail) a number of times with no answer for the next few days and left a message. After the 12 days I was forced to look for an alternative product and advised Shoohouse to cancel the order and called AMEX to cancel the charge. That's the only time I had a reply from Shoohouse advising there were delays and the product had just arrived in their warehouse and that it would be shipped in a few days. I had to again email them to cancel the order. I don't know if they are just poorly organised or a scam but I won't be ordering through them again.

Bought heated socks that arrived with no batteries.Very poor quality and came from China.Chased up and had email off David Lin with tracking number from China.No batteries received although tracking number stated in UK in December,socks were purchased in Nov.Had an email to leave a review on socks which haven't been used .Sent another email to Shoohouse and had a response off Michael Johnson stating socks did not come with batteries and this was stated in sales advert.To me this is false advertising as without the batteries they are just socks and a poor quality at that.Would not purchase anything off them ever again.
Not a scam! Small business affected by COVID
I ordered a shoe rack cabinet - I hadn’t received anything for a very long time. However, was fully updated by the company letting us know they are a small business and national lockdown has caused serious delays to their overseas warehouses and were clear on what to expect. Thankfully, I did not need the item urgently so held tight and waited.
Sure enough, I did receive the item last week- however it was incorrect, contacted customer service and received a very prompt response and the correct item was received soon after.
I can understand how others may be hesitant to order from here due to the other reviews- and I don’t usually ever post reviews but because of the current climate and in consideration of this being a small business I felt it was important.
Certainly not a scam otherwise I wouldn’t have a lovely shoe storage cabinet in my house!

I ordered a dressing table which never arrived. I was keep sending and they kept reassuring me that it's on its way. After a month I asked my money back which I never saw. Then thank for my bank I asked them through them and I had them back to my account within 4 working days.

I was given a return address by ‘Michael Johnson’ and sent recorded by parcel force, surprise surprise the address doesn’t exist. When challenged he asked me to use another courier. I’ve checked the industrial estate address and his address is not there. Do not use this mob. They email back in the middle of the night so clearly not EU!!

Do not use this website I ordered a chair on the 11/2/21 was told to wait till the 26/3/21 and it would be delivered. Surprise surprise it didn’t turn up. Emailed a 3rd time to be told the chair was damaged in transit and they tried to offer and alternative chair and £10 extra to the one I ordered lol. I told them I would like a full refund which they said would take 4-6 days it’s now been 7 working days and still No refund. SAVE YOUR MONEY
Worked out well in the end
The only place I could find something I wanted was on the Shoohouse website. I have previous experience of hard-to find items being sold on scam websites so I was a bit nervous, but I reckoned that if I used a credit card I'd be able to get them to charge back if it all went wrong! A week after I placed the order I had heard nothing and feared the worst, but just as I was about to complain I received an email asking me to be patient as they were struggling in the pandemic. I waited another couple of weeks and still nothing, so I emailed. A fairly prompt response told me that the item was coming from overseas and they'd find out what was going on. Another week passed without contact so I emailed again. I was told that the item had been damaged in transit and there were no more in stock, but a substitute (not something I had seen on the website) was offered. A few days later that duly turned up and as it's at least as good as the item I ordered I'm happy with the outcome, not to say relieved!
In summary, based on my experience Shoohouse is genuine: it's not a scam but they are a small operation and are struggling with the pandemic. They were pretty responsive to my emails when I did get in touch, and then effectively sorted out a problem. Don't expect to be told what's going on, though: if I view the order I originally placed on their website, it still says that I'll get an email when my order is ready!

I ordered something from this company and after waiting about one month received an old pair of trainers instead of the item ordered. Tried emailing but no reply, fortunately my bank is following up. Don't use

Ordered a cabinet from them and appreciate that it took a long time to come, but when I emailed them I got an immediate reply. When it arrived the item is excellent and looks amazing. Instructions weren’t the easiest to follow, but still got there. Thanks.
I've had same problem
I've had same problem, ordered leather tub chair order no. 3905, item never arrived. Emailed 4 times no reply. Just decided to make efficial complain to get my money back. Do t buy from and don't use. Be warned. Daniel who owns company in London is on company house.
