Process explained, principle ignored
Order confirmed with DHL UK Standard, yet the club chose to send it via Royal Mail and the parcel was delivered into a neighbour’s letterbox, which was unfortunate.
Following email communication, I received a response outlining different couriers and their respective delivery timeframes, and the item was delivered within those stated timeframes. I am not disputing the delivery timeframe.
The issue is that the delivery method promised at the point of purchase did not match the service that was actually provided, and this point was repeatedly deflected by focusing solely on timescales rather than the courier used. After raising this clearly in my last email, there has been no further response.
This is not about the £1.95 delivery fee I am asking to be refunded, but about principle, transparency, and customer respect.
