I have owned a Rage 3S chop saw for about 8 years. Only now does the blade need replacing! My only criticism is the difficulty of undoing the blade lock nut. It takes a 35mm pin spanner to unlock it.

pretty poor i have spent over 1000€ with these people and their service is pretty poor. it was very difficult to deal with them. i also bought one of their diamond blades to cut tile on my table saw it was horrendous it just splintered the tile edge no matter which way round you cut it top or bottom when i complained about it all i got was ah you shouldn't use it in that machine really helpful and a complete waste of 47€... but they didn't give jot about that
Works well and easy to set up and use
Multi purpose precision file sander - been using it for about six months and it had been excellent. I can't fault it and wouldn't be without it. Used to easily clean metal before welding and clean up welds afterwards. I see some people complain about customer service with Evolution but I bought this from a 3rd party supplier who are usually pretty good to deal with. I also see a few people complaining about Evolution delivering late but I'd rather wait a week and have a good product and the big third party suppliers will a have more clout than the individual - it's doesn't absolve Evolution from poor service but there are ways around it. I have a 15 years old circular saw for cutting concrete and although I have not used it recently it's always been a solid performer.
Great customer service
Brought a evolution table saw, that arrived damaged, more likely damaged during delivery.
But Evolution where first class and sent new parts within days,fantastic service.
And the saw works just as described.
Save pennies and cost pounds
Bought a table saw for 400 Euros. Some small plastic clips are missing. Evolution don't want to know and will not post to Ireland.
Screwfix where I got the machine want me to pack it all back up and bring it back to get a whole new machine.
Excellent Tools and Great Customer Service
I run a construction company and have purchased several Evolution Power Tools products over the years, including a concrete saw and a compactor plate recently. Both have been durable and have held up well across multiple jobs.
Recently, I lost a part on my concrete saw and called Evolution for help — they sent me a replacement in the mail at no charge. That kind of customer service is rare these days.
Their tools are heavy-duty and well-priced. I’d recommend Evolution Power Tools to any contractor.
Managed to brake my drill
Managed to brake my drill, after a few years of heavy work, and ordered a replacement , ordered Monday afternoon and delivered Tuesday lunchtime!!
That's good service in my book.

Poor transport
The promise was to have the table saw delivered in two working days. DHL have it but it is not delivered and no updates from them with an estimate or anything really and I can't trust them judging on how things are going. For now I have emailed Evolution to just process a refund as I am not really keen to try and track a product I paid for to be delivered at home and this also makes me very unsure if I can trust the product at all. We will see what happens ..

I purchased a. R255tbl+ 16 months ago and it has been an accurate saw that has served me well. Lately I noticed the blade had a wobble on it, most noticeable when slowing down. I phoned evolution and was told to send an email with videos showing the problem. There was a bit of a problem with the emails which was partly my fault so I phoned again and the assistant solved the problem and passed it onto warranty claims and the next day new front and back blade retaining plates were delivered by DHL I fitted the plates and the wobble was gone and the saw back to its perfect cuts.

I bought the R255TBL+ Table Saw and R255SMS+ Sliding Mitre Saw and I'm very pleased with both of them.
Both machines were pretty much aligned straight out of the box, so there was very little to do other than assembling a few parts.
The table saw is very customisable, both the fence and blade can be adjusted to get it perfectly square just using basic tools. The mitre-saw needed a little more adjusting as I found the fence can move slightly as you tighten the hex nuts (but that may just be me!).
Shortly after ordering the two machines I additionally ordered the smaller Riving Knife for the table saw and then I received an email from their customer support thanking me for the repeat business and asking for feedback on their products. I sent a fairly comprehensive email detailing what I considered the pros and cons for each machine and I got another email thanking me for the feedback and saying how the points I raised would be passed on and implemented if possible. I thought that was a really nice touch!
Overall, great products, well made and a lot cheaper than most of the brand named equivalents, some of which are not even as good.
Will definitely be buying more Evolution tools!

Terrible over priced power tools, cheaply made in China.. very inaccurate unless you set them up, and then they go out of accuracy very easily.. i would not waste my money on this cheap DIY brand again definitely not professional use quality...

Terrible customer support....I bought a Evolution R300DCT+ about 2 years ago , probably used it about 4 or 5 times ,when I came to use it ..it wouldn't start..so a friend of mine (who fixes tools) diagnosed the soft starter module,so I ordered one from Evolution....they said they had lots in stock (online) ....then a few days later I get a refund telling me there id none in stock......so how am I supposed to fix the saw????what kind of company doesn't have parts in stock???? I bet Bosch or Milwaukee have constant stock!!!.so why would I buy from Evolution again if they can't back their product up with parts ????because now the saw is useless

Love it , for under 200 quid loads of bang for your buck. Iv cut 5" thick ash no stress. After 14 months maybe 200 hrs of work i Had an issue with the height adjust mechanism, i contacted evolution, less than a week later they had replaced the entire machine ( when sent back mine got damaged in transit ). Make your self a zero tolerance sled and this beauty can do segmented work with ease and accuracy. Free hand cutting is easy, no drift off the fence when using. I honestly love it.

Missing screws!!!
I bought my evolution R255MTS table saw yesterday from B&Q after hearing lots of good reviews about it whilst shopping for a new table saw.
I was very excited to set it up as it seemed to be a great and sturdy piece of equipment, however, I was very disappointed when I realised there was no way to attach the fence, after vigorously scouring through the user manual I saw that there were meant to be 7 black screws supplied with the product which hold the fence in place, but mine
had none in it. I was very excited to get to using this table saw and am going to be needing it for a project that was meant to have started today, but there is no way to use it properly without the correct set up kit.

Goods should have been with me Thursday, DHL have it but Evolution just drag their feet when yhen notified. Wanted the saw table foe a job over the weekend but that is now not going to happen. Should have gone to machine mart, never a problem with them!

Used many times all good
I have purchased Evolutions, Table saw, miter saw, also battery tools, 2 drill/drivers, impact driver, oscillating tool and reciprocating saw. I haven't had any problems with the tools and they all work ok. I did have a delivery issue on one order. I phoned them, they answered the phone after about 20-30 seconds. I spoke to a person straight away who spoke good clear English. The problem with resolved the following day with no haggling about reasons or blame. I don't know how they could have done any better. I am shocked by some of the reviews I've read because my experience with Evolution has been really good.

Just about the worst company i’ve dealt with in over 50 years!
The evolution saws are complete rubbish and in no way are they fit for heavy use.
I’ve purchased 6 of these saws over the past 3 years and none of them have lasted more than a few months.
The last and final purchase completely died after around 8 hours use. This saw was purchased and received on May 2nd and was completely dead by early June 25.
The Evolution warranty’s are just not worth bothering with as there’s no way possible these saws can last 2 years or 3 with the extended online guarantee.
My final saw packed up after very little use so i arranged with Evolution to have it collected from my house under the warranty.
FIVE times these arrangements were made and FIVE times the item wasn’t collected.
5 different apologies were received but the saw was never collected.
A complete farce from start to finish.
As mentioned i’ve purchased 6 of these saws over the past 3 years at a cost of over £1200.
Please don’t follow my stupidity and buy any Evolution tools as you will honestly regret it and waste your hard earned money like I have..
Have decided not to bother anymore so saw number 6 will follow all my others to the dump!!
Please read all the other negative reviews and read them carefully as a rating of 3 out of 5 doesn’t make good reading.
Overall a TERRIBLE experience from a dreadful company that will definitely not be repeated!! Rating 0 out of 10…

Customer Service Appalling
Bought a sliding mitre saw from this company 3 months ago. Everything was fine until suddenly the blade stopped rotating when it touched the wood. I contacted them online and sent a message from their website stating it was still under guarantee, 3 days later no reply, the chat function didn't work either. I rang them and spoke to a lady who said to send another message via their website again. The messaging facility was down. Rang them and was asked for my email address, they said they would reply with instructions of how to have it repaired. 5 days later still waiting. I've had it repaired elsewhere. The customer service from this company is appalling, the saw is ok for what I paid but won't be buying anything from this company again due to the total lack of after sales service.

PLEASE AVOID! Unfortunately, this table saw is all hype and no real substance. Not to mention the fact that the company will try and fob you off by sending pre-opened and damaged saws again and again and again in the hopes you will just accept it cause you've already taken 5 days off work for them to pick up and then re-deliver damaged saw after damaged saw in packaging that has clearly been be bashed around for months (Not just one journey from the factor to my door).
To top this all off, there wasn't even a suggestion of any form of compensation or extra accessories to be delivered as a way to say sorry (eg riving knife, which shouldn't really be a paid extra), just spotty communication at best.
Wish I had just gone for the Dewalt and got quality and saved so much wasted time and lost income off work!

I have several Evolution tools and have often recommended them to friends. Recently though I bought a B-stock table saw which was faulty on arrival (blade stuck on raising/lowering). The only option offered was a return for inspection and eventual replacement. To speed things along I asked for a refund and bought a second for next day delivery. When that arrived, it too had an obvious fault (sliding carriage stuck).
B-stock quality control seems to be non-existent, and the handling of faulty-on-arrival products puts the burden on the customer (return it and wait for us to get around to sending a replacement). This is pretty poor customer service and it's three weeks since my initial order an I'm still chasing for a response on the second faulty saw.
The people I spoke to were pleasant but there seemed to be a a strong sense of complacency in handling the problems and a lack of genuine appreciation of the inconvenience the company's policies unfairly caused customers. This is just how stuff is done, just wait and things will eventually get sorted. A faulty on arrival unit could easily be replaced by next day delivery of a replacement as if it had been ordered. Why make the customer wait for days because of the company's own faults?
The tools are generally excellent for the money, but this kind of customer service problem -- which from reading the reviews seems far from a one off -- really lets them down.
They have, in essence, a good product. Why hobble it with such poor and yet easily fixable service issues?
