Went bankrupt but still trading & new owner wont honour warranty

I bought an Amigo E-Bike in late 2022, customer service was always providing quick responses till I emailed that my ebike in 2023 developed an "Error 8" code on the display and stopped working. Customer service we quick to respond "Certain obligations of the old BV, such as warranty in this case, are thereby taken over by the receiver. However, the liquidator does not have the resources to resolve this, as huge numbers of creditors such as the tax authorities and suppliers are first in the pecking order for the remaining funds."

It was made clear than any inspection and repairs would be charged for.

Despite still trading as Giga-Bikes the former BV of "TOM Retail B.V." declaring Bankruptcy their new owner is now "THOM SALES BV" a suspiciously similar BV, I have a €1499 bike useless and no warranty being honoured by this company Giga-Bikes. Buyer beware!
