I would give Mango zero stars if it…

I would give Mango zero stars if it were possible. I ordered items online and was never able to return them. A home pickup was scheduled, but no one ever came to collect my parcel.
Every time I contacted customer service, I was given a different excuse: first they claimed the courier couldn’t reach me by phone, then they blamed bad weather. Each time I was promised that the parcel would be collected within the next 48 hours, and each time nothing happened.
When I tried to return the items myself, I couldn’t even register the parcel online — the shipping partner did not recognize the parcel number and simply blocked the return process.
This is a complete mess and one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. It’s honestly shocking that such a large, well-known brand operates with such a broken and unreliable return system. I will think twice before ordering from Mango again.

Bad customer service

I went to the mango store in the city centre to exchange a Christmas present. I found the item I wanted to exchange and went to the till point. There was no queue and 3 people behind the till. A lady came over, didn't speak or look at me, i said I wanted to do an exchange and handed over my item with the receipt. She didnt even acknowledge me, took my return and did the exchange without a single word, no smile or anything then handed me my other size with a new receipt still didnt utter a word to me! I walked away disgusted with the service!

If I could give it a negative 10 I would ! What a flippin ripoff organization. I bought a purse online, returned it and they are giving me the runaround on my refund !
I paid for it with my American Express and have been told they have not processed a refund for it. I have nothing good to say about Mango at all.

Worse customer service ever!

Like other reviews I’ve read I’d give them 0 if it were possible to do so.

I too am one of their online Black Friday “victims”. I ordered a winter coat on 26.11.25 - online exclusive. It was so exclusive that although I got an email on the 1st December 2025 advising me I’d hear in a few days when to collect from my named Mango store. Needless to say I never heard a things. The tracking was stuck at dispatched. My countless attempts to engage with Mango was met with unfruitful WhatsApp and bots. I eventually managed to speak with a human and a fresh order was after Xmas. Receiving no paper work, I managed to get hold of another human on the 2nd. He confirmed a replacement order had been done. Monday 5th I finally got an email confirming my order and advised I’d hear back within a few days when to collect my coat from the named store. Today is the 9th, not a word. Phoned again, this time even Iris knew things had gone really bad and referred me to a human. The human had no clue where my coat was but promised to call me back immediately as she would be calling my named store to find out where my coat is. This was 30 minutes ago! As yet no phone call back. I’ve persevered with the coat because it’s supposed to be shower resistant and thermal lined. Perfect for the British weather. Since I’ve ordered the coat we’ve had really bad weather and I’m out of pocket and without a coat. I feel Mango should compensate me but pig would fly as I haven’t come across any caring person during this experience. I’ve even visited my named stored for help and they were totally disinterested. The worse CS service ever. It’s a dream to buy stuff from stores like Zara, John Lewis etc so why is Mango so bad? Mango I hope you do bother to read people’s review.

Yeah…. no surprise, my replacement coat was also lost in transit to Canary Wharf Mango. So pleased I didn’t choose home delivery. Who knows what troubles I’d have now. However, I’m pleased to say a prompt refund was arranged after I wrote the first review. But no thanks as I was without my money since 26 November 2025. I still need a similar type of coat due to the cold damp weather we’re having but due to the incompetence of Mango, I’ve missed out on all nice the nice coats which were in the sale.
Hello Mango: John Lewis and Puma had no trouble with their Black Friday deliveries.Also I’ve never had a single problem with Zara deliveries store either, and I buy more stuff from the stores mentioned than from yourselves, maybe you should take a note.

Terrible costumer service

Terrible costumer service. I bought a blouse online on sale and in size S. They sent the wrong size. Now I can’t buy the blouse anymore and the costumer service it’s absolutely terrible. I am shocked that a big company like Mango responds like this.

Worst Customer Service ever

Worst Customer Service ever. I returned a skirt 2 month ago and they never refunded me the money. I called customer service and told me that they will refund it. I called again after one month as they never refunded it and they told me that they will process the refund. They still did not refund it and I keep asking for a transaction number and they are never able to provide it. They are lying and have the worst customer service.
Don't shop there there are better stores with better customer service than Mango.

Literally everything I ordered from here for Black Friday was a giant meh. I ended up ordering from Lulus too thank god and I kept everything from there.

My real rating is zero and this website…

My real rating is zero and this website is a scam. I received an email stating that my order is in process then I received an email stating that my order is in route. However, I never purchased anything from this website and I have never been to this website to purchase anything so why am I receiving an email? They had my email address they had my mailing address and the email stated the order number so I went to the website to look up the order number and they said I ordered some ballerina shoes size 6 for $64.19. This is false because I don’t even wear a size 6 and how did I place the order when I never been to the website so I look at my bank statements to see if it was true and I don’t see anything showing up on my bank statement thank God. I have to now put a fraud alert on my account, but this is so strange and I am so pissed and upset.

One star is too good for this Company

One star is too good for this Company. I placed an order on 13th December which was a gift for Xmas. Nothing had arrived by the 24th so I contacted their 'chat' line to be told that my order had been returned by the courier. I had received no tracking information and no card had been placed in my letterbox. My order was then supposedly resent on 27th December with an email to confirm. On contacting Mango today (3rd Jan) I was told that my order had been refunded on 24th December. and I will have to wait up to 12 days for it. I have had no notification of this, no notification that the order was cancelled and if I had not called them today would still be waiting for my order. This service is absolutely dire. I will update if I get the refund as they have promised to investigate. Please do not order from them. If you really do want a Mango item then best go to a shop. UPDATE. I have been contacted by customer services who have stated that an attempt to deliver my parcel was made on 3rd Jan - I was in all day and my partner was in the driveway and garage. The parcel was returned again. I do believe this is a pack of lies as I have a parcel bin and most couriers are aware of this. I am now waiting for a refund. UPDATE: After chasing them again for my money I finally got my refund.

Bought a coat from mango online and they would not honor price adjustment

Bought a coat from mango online. The website offered a price adjustment if the item goes on sale for less if done within 14 days. My coat went down in price so i went on Mango chat within the 14 days and requested a price adjustment. Mango rep said it wasn't their policy anymore. I told them it states it is their policy, it even says it again in the chat transcript. They said no, the page hasn't been updated yet. Did not matter that it says otherwise in multiple places on the site. Would not let me speak to a supervisor. Terrible customer service.

Mango: Please Align Your In‑Store Exchange Policy with Your Own Sustainability Claims

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received regarding a recent online purchase. I bought a pair of boots during the Black Friday sale and only needed to exchange them for a different size.
I visited one of your stores, where the correct size was available, but was told that because the purchase was made online, an in‑store exchange was not permitted. Instead, I was advised to return the item for a refund and then repurchase the boots at full price — which is unreasonable and defeats the purpose of a simple exchange.
What makes this even more frustrating is that Mango’s own policy encourages customers to return items in-store in order to “help reduce the CO₂ emissions produced by transport.” I followed this guidance by taking the boots to the store, only to be told I could not exchange them despite the size being physically available. This is completely contradictory to the message Mango promotes.
I then contacted Customer Service and followed the instructions to return the boots by post, including the exchange form as advised. I received no communication regarding the exchange and was issued a refund instead — which I did not request.
This has resulted in unnecessary inconvenience, wasted time, avoidable transport emissions, and a very poor customer experience.

Disappointing experience after an otherwise pleasant shopping trip.

Mango Castlepoint Bournemouth

I recently spent almost £500 in this store on several items of clothing. While the shopping experience itself was pleasant and the staff were polite, I was left quite embarrassed upon leaving.
As I walked out, the security alarm at the door went off. I immediately returned to the till and asked the assistant to check whether any security tags had been left on by mistake. She kindly rechecked every item and assured me that none remained. She then asked to inspect my personal bag under the detector, which I agreed to, but nothing was found.
She offered to walk with me to the exit with my shopping bags. However, as we reached the door again, the alarm went off once more. The assistant smiled awkwardly and let me leave, since everything had already been checked.
Although I appreciate her efforts to resolve the issue, the situation was quite uncomfortable and unnecessarily embarrassing, especially after spending such a considerable amount. I hope the store can look into the cause of these false alarms to prevent this from happening to other customers.

Also I selected a few accessories that I intended to purchase and left them with the staff member stationed near the fitting rooms while I tried on some clothes. When I came out of the fitting room and asked for the items I had chosen, she told me that another colleague had mistakenly put them back on display without realising they were mine.
Although she apologised, it was disappointing — especially since I had spent time carefully choosing those pieces. It gave the impression of poor communication among the staff and made the shopping experience less enjoyable.
It’s a shame, as I usually spend quite a bit in this store and genuinely like the clothes.

Garbage Company

I was given a gift card to Mango for Christmas. We just got a new store in my city and my sister-in-law purchased it for me. I used the entirety of it to make an online purchase of 5 items, then I threw out the empty gift cards. When they arrived, two of the items did not fit. I took them to the store to exchange for items that did fit. When I got to the cash register, I was informed that in order to make an exchange, I would need the gift card that I purchased the items with. I informed the associate that I had used the gift card in total and threw it away she said there was nothing they could do about it. I told my husband what happened and he kindly offered to dig through our garbage for the gift card which he found. I then returned to the store with the empty gift card from the garbage and my items that I wanted to return. I gave the associates my items and they proceeded with the return to the gift card and then I handed the associates the items that I wanted to purchase in exchange and then they told me there was no balance on the gift card and they did not know when the balance would be returned to the gift card. I told them I could not wait at the store to find out because I had a five month old baby with me. I had to return home with no items and an empty gift card and ask the online customer support how long it would take for the balance to be returned. They then told me it would be 72 hours before the balance was returned to the gift card.

Poor service Manchester store

I am writing to express my disappointment following an awful experience at your Manchester Market Street store on Boxing Day.
My family and I have been loyal Mango customers for many years, particularly at the Market Street branch. In fact, we have often made special trips to Manchester specifically to shop at Mango because the service has always been outstanding. Unfortunately, on this occasion, that standard completely disappeared.
During my visit, I had a brief exchange of words with a customer who was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. That customer then complained to a staff member named Ava. Without speaking to me at all, asking for my side of the story, or showing any concern for how I had been affected, Ava spoke to me in an aggressive and patronising manner, as though I were a child being told off. She also stated that she was a manager, which left me questioning whether this behaviour reflects Mango’s standard of management.
Hoping the situation could be handled more fairly, I asked to speak to another manager, Charlie, who has known my family for years and has previously been friendly and professional. However, I was left waiting in the store while Charlie focused entirely on the aggressive customer, making me feel ignored, undervalued, and deeply upset. My family, who were present, were also ignored and were saddened by the way we were treated.
Over the years, I have spent hundreds of pounds at Mango and always believed customer service was a priority for your brand. Sadly, this experience has shown me otherwise, particularly at the Manchester Market Street store. As a result, I will no longer be shopping at Mango.

too many bad experiences

I don't really know what is happening with Mango. I used to love their clothes, but the orders are starting to be so messed up. In the past I received products with bad tailoring or damages. I gave them another chance each time because i really like how their clothes fit me.But for the price they have, Im expecting them to be professional and easy to communicate with. Now I got a mix up of the orders, and they wanted me to proceed with the return on my own expense (i will later get the refund, after presenting the return receipt). It doesn't bother me that they make mistakes, we are all humans, but they are repeating too often, and the audacity to act okay each time (only ME, only on my side) is behind me. Each time im losing time and apparently money because the refund happens in 2-3 weeks at best. I was also expecting a discount of 10% to be honest, as it was really unpleasant and dissapoiting.
I really start hating this Mango experience, Im starting to avoid their physical shops as well because im a bit frustrated of how they manage their business and clients. I understand its the fast fashion era and one customer doesnt matter at all (or at least this is what I noticed considering the unpleasant experiences I got to have with them).
I'm so close to uninstalling their shitty app tbh

Bad customer service for returns

Bad customer service. I need to return several items by collection but their process just tells me to wait for a courier to call me! They can't even tell me which courier and will not give me a Royal Mail or EVRI label. The girl on Chat is ignorant too. Do not trust this company.

I will be filing a formal complaint too .
Here is a shorter version.
At mango in Stratford on 29/12/25 in the afternoon around 4.30pm I was discriminated for my disability from the manager.
This had a detrimental affect on me and caused me distress and harm disoriented ending in tears.
I had traveled by underground from the opposite side of London to purchase a jacket in the size I wanted which only had one size left in the
Stratford branch.
I picked the jacket of the rail and headed towards the till.
on my way to the til I stoped to look at a pair of jeans that cought my eye
I placed the jacket down on the display podium/cube where all the trousers were, with its hanger attached on the jacket, I placed the jacket right in front of me so that it was obvious that it was mine to purchase as I needed both my hands to hold the jeans up to look at them. Suddenly a lady REACHED OVER QUICKLY AND GRABBED THEM!
This made me jump/flinched in the moment of panic as I thought she was a customer taking it for herself and I quickly in my reaction took it back from her to protect the item from potentially being grabbed by another customer ( as it was the last size left.
Only then did i realise she was a shop assistant , she got defensive toward why did I snatch it.
I explained i did not snatched it i panicked as I thought you was taking it thinking you was a customer.
She said, " just to let you know im tidying....
( it was then apparent to me she was a staff member)
I replied
Ok,, but you can see that its obvious that I had placed it close to me as im bying this.
Her ego was obvious hurt she began arguing & accused me of snatching when actually she had snatched it of me by REACHING with her stretched arm over to my end where I was stood from her side that she was stood
I told her to stop arguing leave me alone. She then continued to argue causing an embarrassment situation raising of anxiety for me getting on her high horse not listening to a word I had explained that I panicked and only wanted to protect the garment from getting taken away .
An absolute unprofessional attitude for a MANAGER its disgraceful throwing her weight around as if to show authority.
I went to the fitting room to try jacket but thought i report this to the staff member in fitting room 1st ( i forgot to try jacket on)
The MANAGER has made a bee line for me and stil coming at me still trying to antagonise me.
( she was clearly trying to protect her position and her job and didn't like the fact that she was being reported so she tried to defend herself by lying through her teeth.
She was toxic & made the staff call the security guard 🙈
Another shopper had kindly interviene had words with the security guard that I had done nothing wrong as she could see how i was badly treated told them off, saying she has a disability.
Long and short of this the customer had offered to pay for my jacket ( £69)
I refuse her to do pay for my jacket but was very kind of her to want to do that she insisted at the tills to pay ready with her payment to tap the payment machine.
The other shop assistant wdn't accepts the customer to buy the jacket 🤭🙈 ( very childish immature & uneccessary playing tit for tat )
The security guards had words with the cashiers instructing them to serve me.
Another manager came along to take payment.
The 3 security could clearly see i had done nothing wrong helped me by taking me to the help desk to get the email address for the shopping mall to file the complaint.
The cashiers refused to give the email address for mango head office but gave the phone number 🤪
( there's no secret email its for the public to email on 🙄)
They refused to give name of manager too .
They all seem to close rank with one another and whats the sense of asking to speak to a manager if there is a problem . Because they dont even want to help
They just like the STATUS of a MANAGER easy life , getting paid to not do their role its a disgrace.
She has no intelligent can get more sense from a clown.
Shes breached the equality act of 2010
I will be making sure shes punished for her disgusting behaviour .
Ps: She then claims she has anxiety too (liar ) I hear this all the time, this is typical argumentative reply in the attempt to shut me down , she has no idea what anxiety means
She was very able to cause a huge scene for someone claiming she has anxiety.
She needs to wake up and start educating herself if she has any 🧠

A long list of hidden disabilities including anxiety and depression is a lawful binding act
Of protected characteristic and shes totally disregarded any of what I rightly disclosed to her as soon as she grabbed the jacket off me.

As a manager She lackes the understanding of good customer service had no respect for customers personal space whilst browsing.
Whether or not shes tidying up
She could still carry on tidying and wait till I have moved away before tidying around my space
Very bad shopping experience.
