0 STARS
I wouldn't even give them 1 star.. total liers and I dread when someone sends me anything by Royal Mail. I am in during the day and many times now they dont even attempt a delivery and then lie and say they coulnd't delivery and will try the next day. Today we actually saw the Royal Mail van near our house but they obviously just coulnd't be bothered.. atrocious service!!!
Non delivery
I received a message on the royal mail app which said "Sorry, we tried to deliver your parcel on 26-06-2026 but there didn't seem to be anyone in".
No such attempted delivery was made as I have been in all day. I even saw the royal mail van drive up my street about the same time the message was received.
Shocking company!
If I could leave 0 stars I would time and time again say they are going to deliver then lie and say they attempted delivery even though we are in all day can’t remember last time they actually delivered something on time if at all nearly always ends with me going to the local sorting office to collect myself!have no idea how they are still in business they are shocking. We get post maybe once a month if we are lucky, will actively avoid if I can.
Privatised and now gone to pot
Privatised and now gone to pot. Every other day. Cannot contact them. Terrible. Every other day for 2nd class. Prices a joke.
One star for good service from postmen
One star for good service from postmen. I’ve never thought I would say this, but Royal Mail is worse than Yodel. Didn’t know that was even possible. Everything is wrong: email system, notifications, messing up deliveries and locations.
Royal Fail
Royal Fail - stayed in for a delivery as noted in email update, between about 09.00 and 12.00. nothing, then an update to say it'll be delivered between 18.00 and 19.30 or so, again nothing then "we couldn't deliver your parcel because of access issues" I live in a cul de sac on the outskirts of Bristol. Ridiculous. Waiting 2 days later and because there's no card through the door I can't even go and pick it up. Then I find that an Amazon delivery was supposed to have come yesterday and for whatever reason that is being delivered by RM. Guess what, couldn't deliver it is being held at our sorting office for you, but I haven't got a card or tracking number. Local postie when he delivers (about twice a week if that) is great, but service is absolute pants these days.

I run a parts business and recently the amount of complaints I have had due to RM not delivering on time or not at all is a joke. They are costing us an absolute fortune in lost revenue. You can never get hold of anyone. I don't understand why eBay accept a delivery number as a tracking number - this needs to change as it is not a tracking number. eBay blame RM. If you can't deliver standard RM 24 OR RM 48 get rid of this service and use only tracked service but reduce your costs

I was asked to pay an extra fee on my parcel just to be able to have them deliver it. It was arranged to be delivered today and they never bothered doing so. Avoid this service as it not only asks for extra payments on items but then doesn't even bother to deliver them.
Always on time
Always on time, no excuses on getting to my area 100% better than Evri, Royal Mail will always be my go too
absolute joke of a company
absolute joke of a company, keep sending time scales with no intention of delivering, taking the piss out of people, will be checking if they are used before I order online again
Sent two packages and both missing
Sent two packages and both missing. I think people inside the company itself stealing it. Never sending again
Ebay sent a parcel by royal mail on…
Ebay sent a parcel by royal mail on 22nd June and sent by Royal mail Tracked 48. From Royal mail website shows in tracking on 24th June shows message "We expect to deliver your item today". On the top there's a yellow background showing a warning message like "Heatwave Alert: Met Office Red extreme Heat warning in place". Our posties and drivers are taking extra care in the heat to keep themselves safe. When we read this the Royal mail itself telling staffs not to do any work sit themselves safe in home or office. Normal days they are not doing their duty properly then how they do their duties like these days. The terrible truth is we're took duty off from 24th and waiting for this parcel. But We didn't get our parcel yet. Lazy Royal mail staffs using Heatwave as excuse and we think there are not delivering the parcels properly in these days. We don't know what's the problem. Their vehicles are A/C and can park nearby houses to deliver parcels. Anyway we expecting the parcel only after 3-4 days.
The main problem is these persons has no responsibility or sincere in their job. They behave like they are doing free service not doing paid jobs. We got so many wrong parcels that's (same house number and street name but different postcode). But we will hand over to the postman next day or put back in Royal mail letterbox. Everybody's parcel is precious. They are all eagerly waiting for their valuable parcel. We take special care of wrong parcels we got. Like that our parcels are delivered to some other houses. But some honest people came to our home and gave it us. We are thankful to them to showing their kindness and helpful minds. These Royal mail persons are like that if you are lucky you will get your parcel. Otherwise it will lost somewhere without any trace. Another thing is Our home is in rural area and not much homes. But every day we are seeing 10-15 Royal mail vehicles passing through this road here and there. We are thinking why this much vehicle passing every day. That's for each home parcel they are delivering in each vehicle. That's not sending whole parcel to that area in one vehicle. 🙏🙏🙏.
Unreliable delivery
Unreliable delivery, impossible to get customer service.
Very grateful for our local posties.
I would like like to say a big thank you to all the posties from the Louth, Lincolnshire Sorting Office who deliver our mail, particularly Barry who has been particularly helpful.
Please may this review be passed on to the people concerned locally.
0 stars parcel should of been delivered…
0 stars parcel should of been delivered between 0800 and 1200 today no second scan again the same everytime i order this is 24hour tracked parcel this is a pethetic company when they state a time to deliver they should stick to it ,its always the delivery office who dont give a care to the customer.

As usual I’m waiting for a parcel that was meant to be delivered 2 days ago, tracking number doesn’t work like with my last parcel. Feels me with dread when you get the email from RM saying they have your parcel, straight away you think to yourself here we go again!! I honestly don’t understand why companies still use them as RM make them look bad, so many better delivery companies they could be using. I’ve had parcels delivered from China quicker than it takes them to drive up the motorway, useless

I live in Sheffield and wanted to say well done to all posties working through this heatwave. Its not the easiest of jobs at the best of times so I take my hat off to them!
Rescheduled Delivery
Missed my delivery, so rescheduled for a day I would be home. Royal Mail retry delivery on a completely different day than the one requested. Why give me the option if you are just going to deliver whenever you want?
Anyway never received my item and I'm a couple of £100 of of pocket.
Safe rule of thumb, if a seller or company uses Royal Mail / Parcelforce order somewhere else.
