The level of support has been spot on from day one. Whether it’s brand new, second-hand, refurbished or reconditioned parts, he seems to have access to pretty much everything you could need for a Mk2 Fiesta.

Just sorted me out with disc pads and bearings, all exactly as described and arrived quickly. What really stands out though is the knowledge and willingness to help—he’s been a big part of keeping my XR2 project moving.

If you’re working on a Mk2 Fiesta and need someone reliable who actually knows their stuff, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SB parts.

Fast shipping to Germany. Slight hiccup in the shop software caused double VAT, however support was responsive and refunded the overpaid VAT within a week.
Good quality PCBs.

In general I tend to visit trustpilot before using a new supplier, and on the one time I didn't I appear to be dealing with scammers.

My reasoning behind using this supplier was it was listed on the Adafruit site (I've notified them of my troubles) and assumed the were reputable.

I made two orders for components, via the shop app, and after a week (despite calls and emails) not a whisper from them,

If you need to purchase components use pihut or pimorioni instead as they actually send the items rather than take your money and stay silent.

They have been selling preorders for a product that originated on kickstarter YEARS ago and never fulfilled. The creator has gone silent for almost a year. Coincidentally (or not), he is listed as a Managing Director for this company. The scam runs deep. I wouldn't trust them for any purchases.

Ditched their Kickstarter and took everyone's money.

Many people have supported the SB-components PI Wings campaign but SB have abandoned the Kickstarter!
Now I see that PI wings is sold on SB's webshop!! Why haven't they fulfilled the Kickstarter rewards?

Poor customer service and never delivered pre-orders. I placed an order for a few items in October 2024. A few weeks later, with no sign of the items, I checked back in with them. One of the items I bought was a Pre Order, despite being listed as in stock. A month after I asked, they split my order but I’m still waiting now for the pre-order item (June 2025) and they don’t even bother replying to emails anymore.

This website has sold their customer email list. They are now spamming customers with Kickstarter Advertisements.

This is a scam company. They have several Kickstarters running without fulfilling them. I am a buyer there myself and they say there were "problems". I suspect they are only using Kickstarter to make money.

Canceld the preorder I payed for, day after they increase the price of the product.

I've been an enthusiast of Raspberry Pi products for quite some time now, and I've had my fair share of experiences buying them online. I have recently ordered Raspberry Pi 4 for my DIY project, so before you dive into the world of Raspberry Pi and start adding items to your digital cart I would suggest you buy the product from SB Components. I mean prices are very genuine. Lower than what other marketplaces are offering in the UK. I would suggest everyone buy components from them.

My advice to anyone looking to buy from SB Components is to find an alternative. I originally ordered a Raspberry Pi 400 from them in February. The item arrived faulty and was unable to power on. I reached out and they did send a replacement (which I am greatful for). However, within 2 and a half weeks of receiving the replacement the device is again faulty and will not power on. I reached out to SB components and they have said that because it has been more than 14 days they would not replace or refund the item. Its a real pity, and in my opinion a poor response from this company. I am questioning if the original item was actually replaced or simply returned to me with a temporary fix. Nonetheless I am now stuck with the faulty product and SB components are now ignoring my emails to them.

My only advice really is please shop somewhere else, it's really not worth the stress and hassle.

I've Used their services for my industrial project, and also I've used their LoRa items, I was amazed and very happy with the services and the products...

I bought the Stem:bot kit that is advertised as their Kickstarter project, but in practice it is a white-label from a Chinese company. The customer service was responsive until I made the payment… I received a kit with an opened and damaged box. It turned out that the user’s manual is badly written, full of factual and language errors. The software supplied was beyond disappointment. It was just not fit for the age group it was intended for. After quite some research I’ve found the software by the original developers that was well maintained and good quality. With that the kit is finally the fun it should be from day one. I tried to discuss this with SB customer service who were unsupportive and ignorant.

Finally got Raspberry pi 400 kit on SB and got delivered as they said... really liked the service and the product
