Completely unreliable UPS delivery (now updated)
Uniproof uses UPS which is consistently rated one star on Trustpilot. I ordered tile backer boards twelve days ago and at this time I have no idea when they will arrive. Uniproof's delivery policy basically states that after they despatch the order, delivery is no longer their problem so don't start or schedule any work until you get the item. I should have read the small print. If you don't care about delivery times go ahead and use Uniproof, otherwise avoid. I will not use this company again.
I wish to update this review. In light of an email sent to Uniproof outlining my situation, they sent their own driver to my house with the order on Sunday morning. Every business will experience problems from time to time but it is the manner in which they address such problems which defines their customer service. When Uniproof became aware of the difficulty, they took immediate steps to rectify the situation (on Sunday morning). I have no problem in amending my previous comments and will confidently use Uniproof again. Excellent customer service.

We’re really sorry for the trouble you experienced with your delivery. Our former courier partner, Fastway, entered receivership without any prior warning to us, which unfortunately forced us to switch to an alternative service — UPS. We completely agree that their performance has not been up to standard recently.
Thank you for emailing us directly. As you mentioned you needed the boards by Monday, we personally delivered a duplicate package to you this morning to make sure you’d have what you need in time.
At the moment, all courier companies are under extra pressure due to Fastway’s sudden closure, which has caused major disruption across the delivery network. We’re actively working to find a more reliable long-term courier solution to prevent this from happening again.
