VERY DISAPPOINTED
I purchased a brand new Henckels knife roll a month before going to chef school. The first week of school I had a knife fall out of the case while carrying the case and went missing. Upon taking the case to the supply store I purchased it from, they told me the return policy was 15 days, PERIOD, contact Henckels. I contacted Henckels to report this and was told, “This issue has never been reported" you must be loading it incorrectly. I found another student at the school that has experienced the same issue. I have since witnessed other tools falling out of this case; likely I saw it happen and was able to recover them. I was crossing the street the other day when I heard the clanging of my sharpening steel bouncing on the pavement.
DO NOT BUY the Henckels knife roll it is an unsafe product. It should have a zippered enclosure to prevent tools (knives) from falling out should they come loose from the elastic restraint. I used to think S.T.O.P Restaurant Supply was a great store that would care greatly about customer satisfaction; my opinion of this store has seriously been altered by this experience. I will find another supply store to shop at.
