When visiting the Shore Excursion Group Website, it has you put in the name of your ship and the date you will be in port. Once you do that, it shows you which excursions are available.

On our recent cruise I booked two. One for Konoko Falls in Jamacia and one for a beach day in Grand Caribbean.
The Shore Excursion Website clearly states that the Konoko Falls excursion is a 2 hour excursion and is a 15-20 minute drive from the port. Our driver met us promptly and we began to drive. 30 minutes into our drive we asked if we were almost there. Hi informed us that we were still 40 minutes form the falls!!

We ended up driving 90 minutes to get to the falls, and 60 minutes to get back to the boat. We missed our on-board reservations as the excursion took way more than the 2 hours that were advertised.

Back on the boat I called the 24-hour traveler assistance line and got no response. I emailed both from the website and using the reply email when we booked our tickets. I expressed my dismay, the fact that we lost money because we couldn’t do the on-borad activities we had planned, and I requested a refund.

Additionally, I said I was skeptical of the veracity of our excursion in Grand Bahama and I wanted to cancel that as well. No body ever got back to me.

When we returned home, I emailed and reached out through the website. I was told that they would contact the driver and get back to me.

I was clear that the driver was wonderful, the issue I had was that the shore excursion was misrepresented on the website. The website very clearly says that the falls are 15-20 minutes away and that the total excursion time was 2 hours. This was absolutely not the case.

I have waited, submitted screenshots of their website, and have heard nothing back. Therefore I request a refund for misrepresenting what we were getting and causing us to lose our money as we were not able to return to the ship in the 2 hours promised.

I would never trust this group again. They have been unresponsive and unprofessional.

Well what can I say about this company.
My friends and I booked a turtle dine and snorkel tour in Hawaii. Around 900 dollars.
On the morning Hawaii was having the worse storm for 40 years.
We heard nothing about our tour , although all the tours on the ship were being cancelled.
As we didn't know what was happening and after trying unsuccessfully to contact someone we made our way to the port by taxi.
We thought we better let them know we were there to speak to someone rather then not turn up
Trees were coming down and the storm was ferocious.
We stood in the pouring rain for 45 mins till 11am the time the tour was due to start , no-one turned up .
After several emails the only response I got from the company a few days later was an email saying exactly the same thing 3 times.
We are verifying the tour didn't go ahead.
5 days or so later im still waiting for my money.
Looks like ill have to take it up with my credit card company when im home.
Not nice to have this extra stress on what has been a lovely cruise.
We also sent the company photos of the storm and the boat we were due to go on

The best part of our Puerto plata excursion was our tour guide, Alex. He grew up from the area and is well versed on the island. He was friendly, pleasant, and so knowledgeable. He made the day so much fun and really made us want to stay and come back to the island soon. Golden Beach was beautiful and so well kept. He really made the day personalized with our group and went above and beyond. Thank you, Alex, and the driver Daniel.

It was very easy to place and pay for an order.

Vert easy to navigate and prices reasonable

Made simple just by selecting the cruise line, the ship name and the dates. From there, all you had to do was read and click. The descriptions explained everything quite well. After choosing the options, it was easy as 1-2-3.

Now, I would switch the "Select a tour time" and the number of individuals option, but it wasn't that big of a deal, just more of a Selection of Order suggestion.

I was not pleased with an excursion I booked as the venue I specifically went to see was closed and under construction. I expressed my disappointment and low and behold, I was issued a full refund. What a great company! I have used them many times in the past and have always been happy. I would highly recommend them.

Super easy website to navigate and tour descriptions were very informative. Ratings were helpful to read through to help make my mind up when I was on the fence about a tour.

Loved the one on one personal touch. Guide was very informative, friendly and fun.

We booked a package excursion with Shore Excursioneer that was supposed to include a zipline tour, a boat tour with snorkeling, and a beach afternoon.

When we arrived, the weather was very bad and most of the activities were cancelled. While we understand that weather is outside of anyone’s control, almost the entire excursion ended up not taking place.

The original zipline tour advertised on the website included 13 zip lines and 16 platforms. However, we were only able to complete 5 zip lines. At no point before starting were we informed that the activity would be reduced to only 5 lines instead of the full tour.

Because of the heavy rain, we ourselves decided not to continue with the boat and snorkeling part, which would have been unsafe. This was not clearly discussed with us beforehand either.

In the end, the only services we actually received were transportation and access to the zipline park where we completed just 5 zip lines. Despite this, we were still charged $100 and only offered a partial refund of the $67 deposit.

In our opinion, this price is extremely disproportionate to the services that were actually delivered. If we had known beforehand that almost the entire excursion would be cancelled and that the zipline activity would be reduced to only 5 lines, we would never have agreed to proceed.

We fully understand that weather can affect excursions, but situations like this should be handled fairly for customers as well. Charging such a high amount for such a small portion of the advertised experience feels unreasonable.

Unfortunately, the company has refused to reconsider the charge despite the significantly reduced service. For future customers, it may be important to know that if large parts of the excursion cannot take place, you may still be charged most of the price.
