Complete scam

Complete scam. Media/review companies do not charge you for a review. They sell ad space for revenue.

They've messaged me a few times and can't take a hint. If you're an aspiring filmmaker, save money for a publicist who can get you into legitimate publications.

This is a rare scam

This is a rare scam. Most probably they will get in touch with you first, saying they have found your film on the internet and it is amazing and they would love to write a review for it. Then the link will take you to the page whee you will be requested to pay for a review (50 $ - its like a price of a good festival!). Once I paid they gave my film very average review for some reason. I checked them further - they are nowhere on the internet among good rated movie peers. When I got in touch with the support, the guy was replying very rudely and finally he told me to "F*** OFF", really! I guess, this is a one - person "company" run from somewhere in Nigeria.
STAY away!
